"What I liked about the hotel was that it had its own sand covering experience because Kagoshima is known for this experience but usually at another location. The thing that I didn’t like was the fact that the bathtub water faucet was leaking water and making the bathtub dirty. Also if you are not use to sleeping on tatami style bedding it’s going to be hard to get a good sleep. "

"Ginsyou is an older, well maintained property. Not all that modern. We ordered the dinner and breakfast at the hotel and found it to be way over the top. We could barely get through the dinner, as there was so much of it. The breakfast also consisted of some rather unusual food that my stomach could not tolerate in the morning. And there was no coffee with it. I wouldn't recommend the breakfast. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, though. "

"社員旅行ではじめて利用させて頂きましたが、レストラン、温泉、眺望、施設、スタッフの皆さんの全てが完璧でした。ホテル内には＂砂蒸し風呂＂もあり、温泉大浴場と併せ癒されました。また、1番楽しみにしていたのが食事でしたが、指宿唯一のフレンチレストランでの創作フレンチコース料理とベテランソムリエの方がチョイスしたワインが素晴らしかった事と、我々ホテルユーザーにとっての最後のイベントが朝食ですが、フレッシュな食材の料理に感動しました。また伺わせて頂きます！"

"建物や設備は確かに古く、到着時は廃虚かと驚いたが、古い時代の正しいリゾートホテルといった感じで、往年はさぞかし豪華なホテルだったのだろうと思われる。客の使用エリアは綺麗に整備されていた。部屋もゆったりしており、古いが贅沢な感じの設えで、信じられないほど広い敷地内の芝は綺麗に刈ってあり、植木も手入れされていて花を綺麗に付けていた。大浴場は清潔で気持ちよく、朝食は広い会場で十分な品数が用意されており、ゆったり食事を摂ることができた。スタッフも親切で気持ちよく過ごすことができた。6月から休館とのこと（何年かかるのか、復活があるのかわからないが）で、もっと以前から利用すればよかったと残念に思う。ただ、朝食ビュッフェは9:30が最終受付とのことだったので初日は9時に入ったが、9:30に撤去するのでそれまでに取るように言われ、食べている最中だったのでデザートを取りに行けなかった。9:30に食事の提供を終える事は予め知っておきたかった。"
