"We had a great time staying Airlie Guest House! It’s located in a beautiful area and within walking distance to restaurants, bars, the supermarket, and the lagoon! In the morning you will have a complimentary breakfast and locally grown delicious mangoes all day long! Believe me, mangoes are very sweet! The view from the terrace is amazing and you will have the opportunity to feed the cockatoos in the morning and see a variety of birds all day long - we also saw parakeets! Mick and his team are...

"The property is clean but dated. Even though the town is close, the walk is either up or downhill. I’m surprised the town doesn’t have better stairs or sidewalks to walk to the various beaches and areas. Cabs and UBER are available. "

Basic accommodation but suited us as there for race week.Stayed in one of the studio bungalows air-conditioned clean and tidy.Booked again for next year."

"Lovely apartment with everything you could need. We stayed here for 5 nights - the apartment had everything you could have needed from kitchen facilities to outdoor balcony with tables and chairs to enjoy the view. Only 10 minute drive into main area of Airlie too so was quiet and we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. "

A nice place to visit.

"Hamilton Island is a beautiful place to visit. The island is small, and the free shuttle around it is useful. It is a pricey destination, but the room is very nice. The room is fully equipped with a kitchen so if you would want to get provisions before arriving to cut down on costs a bit, you certainly could. We had a short stay, so we did not get a chance to visit all the beaches, but did enjoy the ones we did. Loved seeing the wallabies, parrots, bats, and cockatoos that roam freely on the island. The snorkeling off Catseye beach was decent, I’d recommend going far out if you are a confident swimmer. There are also pools, ping pong, bowling , and free use of non motorized equipment at the beach ( only saw kayaks, but they probably had other things, we snorkeled so didn’t use them) All in all very nice for a short stay. For a long stay I would pick Airlie Beach as you have more options on things to do."
