"First I must say the negatives here are minor and the customer service was most definitely 5 stars. Quick with the negatives; housekeeping put a torn sheet on the bed. Pet peeve of mine I hate to see. There is no shower stall but a large tub almost 3 feet deep. Treacherous to get in and out of; no shower curtain; room gets flooded and the floor is slick; not a fan. "We had a fantastic two nights stay at this hotel. The two hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming, helping us with anything we needed. The room was spotless, with a very modern bathroom, great lighting, comfy bed and smart TV for apps etc. We felt very comfortable. Good selection of breakfast and very tasty. "Cat Ba is a resort town with lots of mid-range restaurants and markets selling the same thins. We had hoped to bicycle more but it is very hilly and the bicycles available were not up to the task. "Is a great experience to have a family’s trip together. Was really a good family bounding especially with my daughter during the kayaking activity. Itinerary was well organised by our tour guide ( Tony) and his crews. Would highly recommend to first timer to Halong Bay.
