The wooden floors are splendid. The secluded location results in a quiet and peaceful stay. The kitchen and the shared amenities are outstanding and the staff very friendly. "It's a unique place, not a traditional hotel. A very quiet and peaceful atmosphere. Nice to retreat from noise and get some time to relax. Rooms are cozy and nicely decorated, however they miss some practical details in the bathroom like hangers and a spot to place your own toiletries. Pool and SPA area are nice also the green common areas. "

"Please note the town shuts down at 8 PM. They close the hotel and do NOT wait for you to check in. Fortunately a much nicer hotel was down by the actual beach and accommodated us. It worked out bc it was a far superior hotel and not much more money compared to the new Windsor. Stay somewhere else but def visit Etretat. "
