"A very good stay at the Thon Hotel Slottsparken. The main reason for selecting the hotel was the availability to accommodate 3 adults (adult daughter still loves free holidays!) and the 'Business' room option worked our perfectly with plenty of room for us all. Location wise it was very close to the palace in a nice quiet area whilst also being less than a 10 minute walk to the centre of Oslo and the Nationaltheatret train station which has a direct link to the airport. "The most surprising part is heated bathroom floor! Shower glass is only partial . So get very wet I. The room but with heated floor, it dries pretty quickly! Also location was perfect for us to move around."
