"Spacious, clean room. Friendly staff that actually was present at the time of my check-in. In February the room was really chilly, the heating was on all times when I was in the room. With the heating on the room was good. WC and the especially shower room stayed freezing cold, the water was hot and didn't run out. I asked about wifi speed beforehand and got extremely anxious when the staff told that they cannot run speed test (why?) and stated that "it's not high speed". In turned out that...

"A too-brief stay of 2 nights and 3 days in Fukuoka. It's a great city with a lot to offer. The room was clean, compact, and comfortable - if you are accustomed to Western-style hotels, be aware that the rooms are quite small by comparison. Everything worked well, including the ability to control the temperature. As the name implies, it is in the western part of the Tenjin neighborhood, close to lots of shopping and eating, and walkable (a little further) to areas such as the popular Canal City...

"It’s a great spot but the experience feels very impersonal. I also didn’t feel very safe as the entrance to the building and overall stairway and elevator. Compared to the sounding area it felt like a council estate hiding amongst the lovely area, it was also lacking in instructions about how to collect your key and you have to wait for a reply when all I wanted to do was drop my bags off so I could grab some dinner. "Property was filthy. There was black mold and my wife had an asthma attack. There were appliances falling off the wall. Hair on the bed when we got there. The kitchen was filthy and hadn’t been cleaned before we got there."
