"We always try to stay at ES. But this time was frustrating. AC in the room would only go to 72 degrees and was off when we arrived. It took three hours to cool down to 72 degrees. The location is across the road from the train station (actually just train tracks). Last night I heard at least three trains and they are loud blowing their horn. Parking on ES lot is $25 per night (valet parking not available) and the clerk was not quick to point that out. There's an adjacent public parking lot (same...

"The hotel was undergoing a bit of a face-lift in a couple of areas but it didn’t interfere with our plans. It was friendly, clean, comfortable & easy to get into & out of. "

"This is my favorite hotel in Alabama. It is very kid friendly. My suggestion would be more dining options in the fall/winter when the pool is closed."

"The property was easy to get to and the location was great across from Tanger Outlets. It appears to be recently remodeled and was nicely updated. There was also housekeeping service daily which I haven't had at a hotel since before 2020. "
