"As American tourists, this was our first time staying at a capsule hotel. It was certainly a memorable experience. Similar to a hostel, everything is communal and gendered (separate male and female floors). The place itself is extremely clean and run in a very orderly fashion. "Couldn’t ask for a better hostel experience here! I struggled to initially find the hostel but when you get to the mall area it’s in, look out for signs labelled ‘CABIN Tokyo Bay’. Reception and I mostly chatted through Google’s Translate app and pyjamas/towels are provided fresh each day. Shower/changing rooms were great, capsule mattresses are flat but to be expected (just a head’s up for side sleepers), but with a lot of room for sitting up if needed.
