"Not much around"

"Hotel was good, great location next to station, staff were excellent. The room I had bathroom was awkward impossible to get in and out of bathroom without twisting legs and knees. I stayed in hotels of all levels all over Japan. I never had any had a design like this. The size of bathroom small, that did not matter and can be normal in Japan. It was the toilet on an angle in front of the door open and make it impossible to get into the bathroom. I stayed in placew where bathroom is same size and...

"Some things may be a little outdated in the Nara Visitor Center & Inn but it is the best bang for your buck in town & the staff was outstanding - so friendly & helpful! I’m so glad we decided to spend a couple of days in Nara instead of just doing it as the day trip that it is so often marketed as. Nara is it’s own destination & my favorite part of my whole whirlwind journey through Japan."

"The staff spoke English well and were always willing to help or be accommodating. They cleaned the bathrooms and other areas everyday. Only bad things were that although I stayed in the hotel for nearly 3 weeks they did not change my bed sheets. I'm sure if I requested it it probably would have happened. But it should have been some automatically every few days or so. Also the laundry dryer did not work very well so I used a local laundrymat instead. I would not stay in a hotel ever again...

"February visit Our hotel room was surprisingly spacious, clean and functional. It had 2 twin beds, but my wife and I ended up just utilizing one. Has a mini fridge, tv (for those who care), and disposable slippers. I gave it 5 stars because it was exactly what we were looking for at an affordable price. Staff were great and check in process was fast. One thing to note: - Room was very warm! (This wasn't really a problem because we turned on the air conditioner to compensate. Just felt bad...

"This hotel was amazing especially for the price! If you want someone that has the necessities and place to stay that is cheap but still has quality this is the place! It’s a few minutes away from the stations super close to a few convenience stores. And also walkable distance to tourist destinations. I would highly recommend starting here "

"This was a fantastic find! It was a comfortable room with private bathroom, laundry and kitchenette which is perfect for longer stays. Very close to a bus stop, which made touring the city easy. Comfortable bed was a huge plus! Highly recommend if you want to stay in Gion. "

"今回は私の事情で鍵付き個室(部屋での音出し可能)の部屋が希望だったので困惑してしまいましたが、このような形式を希望されてる方にはとてもいいと思います。 大浴場のも含め廊下や階段の床もキレイでした。ただ、部屋の取り方が気になります。 連泊２日目は７部屋中2部屋しか埋まってないのに何故か隣同士。 音を気にしすぎて休まれませんでした。 １泊目は埋まってたからいいとして、２泊目のように空いているのなら、端と端で離してほしかったです。スムージーはとても美味しかったです。"
