"We had a great stay at the Cozy Inn, Otaru. Building is very well laid out, and rooms were fairly sizeable, new and clean. There isn't much of a common area, or kitchen etc but that's fine as there is lots in the area. Staff was super friendly and helpful, it's one of those properties we wish we would have stayed longer."

"Very nice owner/hostess. This is a very clean typocal Japanese pension. Nothing fancy except the toilets, which are the high tech heated seats/bidet. Conveniently located in Hirafu village with easy ski access. "

My only qualm is that the beds were a bit old and that the couch in the room just took up a lot of space when trying to sort out our massive ski bags… overall very happy with the stay!"
