"It was a great hotel to stay in, however the area around it is not very touristy and feels at times a little hostile. However, it is near train stations and allows for you to leave whenever."

"Very modern and clean property with complete amenities. Drawback is the size of the room but to be expected for a Japan hotel at this price range. Location still good to reach Doutonbori/Namba main area and metro stations within 15 mins walk."

"The hotel was particular about certain rules, but there were no issues with the property if you followed the instructions. The property wasn't the cleanest, but that is more due to the age of the property rather than the staff not cleaning, which they were diligent in doing. All in all a fine stay, no major issues or complaints."

Minor gripes: * There are only two washing machines and two dryers. On at least two occasions I had to reschedule my laundry chores because both were occupied at the time. "Centrally located easy walk to motomachi station, shopping and the port. Rooms outdated, walls need a good clean, neverthe less comfortable. Beautiful bath and sauna area ideal for soking after a day of adventure"

"Some things may be a little outdated in the Nara Visitor Center & Inn but it is the best bang for your buck in town & the staff was outstanding - so friendly & helpful! I’m so glad we decided to spend a couple of days in Nara instead of just doing it as the day trip that it is so often marketed as. Nara is it’s own destination & my favorite part of my whole whirlwind journey through Japan."

"The property itself was very nice. The area around it is not that great. Still the area is safe but there are homeless & the train tracks are right next to the hotel. So you will hear the train passing from 5am-12am daily. You will be very close to multiple different train stations all within 7-10 min walk away from the hotel. "

"Great location. Good cafe/bar. Room was decent size and cheap. Lots of amenities available. My fault but didn’t realise the room I booked didn’t have a bathroom. Onsen was nice touch as well"
