"The hotel is very close to the center of town. They also offer transportation. The staff was super sweet and helpful and the room comfortable. You do sleep on the floor if you get a traditional Japanese room, but it was not bad. The hot springs are not tattoo friendly."

"Large lodge within short walking distance of Prince Gondola number 2. My group of 5 stayed in for 2 nights. We had 2 tatami rooms with the wall divider separated to make the room 1 large room. Sleeping arangements were Futons on the floor which we had to unfold and prepare ourselves, but everything was provided in the cupboards. Sinks, toilets are shared with everyone on the same floor but there is plenty to go around for everyone. There is also a mens only and womens only communal bath on...

"The staff is welcoming and kind, this is a family run business for 6 generations! The half board breakfast and dinner are exceptional, kaiseki style and every dish is presented beautifully. The location is right on the ometesando, lots of foot traffic but quiet. Futons are comfortable. We loved our stay and want to go back!"

"Let me start by saying that the hosts are super friendly and supportive. They pick you up from the train station and will drop you at the entrance of the famous monkey park. The place itself was very cold. You can warm your room, but in the hallways you could blow condense fog. When having to use the shared bathroom you really dress up. "The staff was really nice. We got free milk and it was only ¥100 for extra bottles if milk, which are a MUST when taking an onsen. We had a private onsen in our room, but there were also public onsen in the hotel! Everything was super clean and the hotel is located close to the bus-terminal."
