"It was a fairly simple stay, with just the basics in the room. Since we live in Japan, were used to certain aspects of a hotel room here, such as a tea kettle and coffee, plus some cups - and we missed those things. On the other hand, it was great to sleep on a bed that was not as hard as most Japanese mattresses. The breakfast was nothing special, but it was definitely appreciated. "Uotoshi Ryokan was amazing! The host was super nice, the meals were fantastic, the room was great. The area is perfect, it's a great place to get away from the city for a bit. It's a bit in the past, but in a really nice way! Our room didn't have a washroom in the room, we didn't mind. "

"The pros. Easily accessible from bus stop. Traditional style sleeping arrangements and amenities. Which was what we were after. Morning breakfast which was included was awesome.
