"Confortable stay near Ueno"

"Staff was kind, hostel and room was very clean. Area was quiet and very close to several convenience stores, food, and Ikebukuro station. "

"The staff were very friendly. I like the little café and eating area. The room and bathroom were clean. They have 2 washer/dryers which were convenient for traveling. The nearest subway station is about a 15 minute walk. There were plenty of local stores and restaurants within walking distance. Also, there's paid parking right in front of the hostel. Overall it was a great stay."

"Overall, not a bad experience. A good deal for how affordable it was. It’s dated, but clean. There is a smoky smell, as others have mentioned, but not terrible, unless you’re particularly sensitive. I had to leave early due to a storm, so didn’t actually sleep here, but accommodations looked fine. Pretty spacious for a typical capsule style. It was definitely warm, though. "

"It is a perfect stay if you are budget minded. There is a lawson and matsuya next to the hostel as well as the hostel being a cafe itself. If you want to go to shimokitazawa or shinjuku you can take yoyogi hachiman which is close by. The beds are comfortable, have two power outlets, and storage for 2 medium sized luggage. The staff clean and mop the floor everyday around 12pm"

"Very helpful and friendly staff. The outside seating areas smelled of cigarettes and the room smelled of dryer sheets or something. They had a very nice laundry machine and commercial dryer, but it was outside and didn't have a combination lock. A little bit of a walk to the train station but not bad and lots happening in terms of interesting shops along the walk. Lots of nice restaurants and shops near the place too. It was listed as a room for two, with two beds but it looked like there...

"Amazing place, Tak is a very good. Just please be respectful and mindful! The place has really homey feel to which is great and since the lobby is just the living you get to talk with the other guest a lot. If you travel alone this is the spot "
