"I really enjoyed my time at Kakure-Yado Yuji-inn - Hostel. The staff is really like a family and they are really inviting. Like my title says, the hostel is very close to Kurashiki - So the Ohara Art Museum, Kurahsiki Ivy Square, etc. I will say that the hostel is actually in a narrow alley. But the area is super safe, so I wouldn't worry too much about it! (This is more so a heads up when you're looking for it for the first time.) But yeah - A great hostel; I would certainly recommend it."

"We were kicked out to poring rain when we arrived early with two small children. It's not that they didn't have a space for us to wait until the bad weather passes by. They did not have a heart to welcome their guests. The owner frowned at us when we came inside the entrance soaked, and said they had to close the office between 12 and 4. I'd never met such an inflexible and unwelcoming owner of a guesthouse. It made a huge contrast with sincere service we received elsewhere during our trip. We...

"The host Kaito san, is very helpful and was ever ready to help us with our queries/problems, etc. The place is pretty new and the rooms are therefore clean and bright. No towels are provided though, and the host should consider providing it as part of the amenities."
