Well I'll start with communication is good. Answer messages quickly and the after hour key pick up was a nice touch. Also the TV was nice, there was a smaller one next to it on the shelf, not sure why. And the fireplace was great, you need to bring your own wood though.
Now onto the stay:
The sheets were stained and had hair on two out of the three beds. The carpet was not cleaned well, I brought out the vacuum and decided to clean up myself. I decided to sleep on the futon, since my friend would be sleeping in the bedroom and the other twin bed sheets in the master were stained. I did bring my own sheet and laid it across the futon. Come to find out the metal bars were so obtrusive there was no possible way to sleep on this. I decided to try out the twin bed in the living room, I could feel every spring. So for three nights I did not get any sleep. The second and third night sadly I broke out in a horrible rash. I do not have food allergies and brought food from home. I am allergic to cats or dander and we were in a pet friendly unit. I did bring my pup, but something was not right. I had to rush out and get medicine well trying to decide to goto the clinic or not, at this point maybe home. You can't take a shower back to back due to the hot water possibly running out, something along those lines and if it does happen you will be paying to have someone come out and look at the heater. The parking lot has a lot of clutter, extra cars under tents. Someone living in an RV I think. Walls are thin, you can hear the conversations above you.
The drive to the lifts is not far not close, California or NV side, so be prepared to drive at least 12 to 20 minutes depending on traffic ESPECIALLY on Saturday. Drive slow, cops surround the road Pine Cone is on, you speed you will get pulled over.
I really wanted to enjoy my vacation being that I only get two a year but it just missed the mark. I will not stay here again due to what happened, since I cleaned up myself and had my own sheets I did not call the main desk. I'm not searching for compensation.
