Cute little cottage
The cottage was clean and well stocked with the essentials. Beach access was not exactly easy with little kids, but there are easy to get to beaches very close by. It was quiet and lovely and the stars were so bright out there where there is no light pollution. We would definitely stay there again.

We couldn’t go. It’s sad that you can be flexible and “must adhere to your policy” during an ice storm in Oregon. We won’t be booking with Vacasa ever again.

This was a first time for us booking a beach cottage, There were some issues that made it pretty unpleasant unfortunately and I contacted someone but was treated very rudely and no one addressed the problem for us at all. We will be asking for a refund.

Always a delight!
Sea Mist is a lovely beach cottage located near Yachats Oregon. The cottage offers everything you need: a full kitchen, washer/dryer, a comfy bed, and the sound of waves crashing on the shore. I love this place - this was my third visit!

Cute but needs a deep cleaning.
The property location is great and its a cute little place. It needs screen windows so that you can air out the ammonia smell, not sure if its from previous pets and there is black mold in various spots.

Great Ocean view
Cottage was clean, bed was comfortable. Had plenty of towels. BBQ had propane. It's nice to have a carport to park under. Handy having a washer and dryer available. Great view of the ocean. Although the highway is between the cottage and the ocean, the cottage sits back from the highway and at a higher elevation so noise from the traffic is minimal and view is not obstructed. Cottage did smell a little musty, but that may be a common problem on the Oregon coast. We had no cellular service in this area, but that may be our carrier (US Cellular). Wifi at the Cottage worked great.

Sea Mist is a Sweet Little Gem
This is my second stay at Sea Mist and I will be back. The cottage is clean and comfortable with all the amenities you need for a great vacation (refrigerator, stove, microwave, washer/dryer, hair dryer, etc.). I love this little place - super comfy and quiet.

Cute, Quiet Little Get Away by the Sea
Easy to rent, close to many things including easy to get to beach access. I recently had Achilles tendon reconstruction surgery and was worried about finding access to beach but had no problems. The only thing I didn't like is how many times I was "encouraged" to "help the staff" by doing the dishes & starting a load of towels AFTER paying almost $200 in extra fees on top of the rental cost and tax. There was no laundry soap so I would have had to buy that in order to do their laundry too. Was a bit disappointed that there we no shells on the beach but loved reading the book with previous renters comments. Trying to watch Netflix was very frustrating & couldn't get IMDB TV only worked once & movie selection is very poor. Luckily the weather was awesome so we spent to time we were in the cabin drinking tea & coffee looking out the windows watching the sea waves roll in. Wonderful waking up to the beautiful beach every morning.

Great location
Great location. Older cabin, but still pretty comfortable. Kitchen cupboards, dishes, etc., Could use some updating. Don't count on relaxing in the evening and watching Netflix, hardly works. Internet is very spotty. Even with a few little issues, we still really enjoyed our stay.

Cute cottage with lots of character, Internet is interment, and cell service is zero without internet. Bed is queen sized but comfy. Sofa and recliner also comfy. Tide pools aplenty along this part of the coast some with easy access

Very disappointed
This property was great when we stayed here 4 yrs ago but it is seriously run down, filthy, obviously no deep cleaning happening here. Dirt and grime in every corner, dust, dirty walls, mice got in our food. Very disappointed, the owners need to visit and see the state the property is in. Vacasa is not doing a very good job cleaning and maintaining.

Litte red cabin by the sea
Beautiful views , great beach just a little south. Nice bathroom ( I would add a grab bar for safety) hot shower😊nice. Nice big towels. Liked the washer dryer set up. Very restful , great little cabin get away. Close to lots of places of interest, cooks Chasm, Cape Perpetua, Yachats Look forward to visiting again. Thank you❤️

A Gem of a Beach Cottage
This cottage is terrific. All the amenities you need for a successful vacation, clean, bright, and comfy. Yes, it is secluded (approx. 7.5 miles south of Yachats and 18 miles north of Florence). But the quiet is priceless. The nights are super dark and quiet. The market in Yachats is fully stocked and I highly recommended it. The cottage is within an easy drive to Cape Perpetua (Devil's Churn, Cook's Chasm, and Thor's Well) and the Heceta Lighthouse. The beach is typical Oregon ... rocky and majestic. Never turn your back to the ocean! Those sneaker waves are the real deal. My only suggestion for the owner is to replace the power outlets in the bedroom. Plugs sit too loose in the outlet and fall out easily. I will come back. Thank you for the retreat I needed.
