"When we arrived at the lodge we were supposed to be staying in there was another family there who said the lodge they were supposed to be staying in was occupied so they were given this lodge. We rang the contact number and he apologised, we were provided the key code for another lodge and when i opened the door that was occupied as there was a dog in there. "Our room was really nice, clean and comfortable. The food was nice. We came with our dog but even though the hotel states that it is dog friendly, it is really we let you bring your dog. There was an area to eat when you have a dog (which was fully booked on the Friday) so we sat in the bar area which had a good atmosphere. We asked to be sat there on the second night as the dog friendly area was out of the way and there was no atmosphere. It is important to us when we come away with our dog...

"Pros: Modern and stylish, not expensive, spotlessly clean, dog friendly, staff were the friendliest we have come across on our travels and were great with our dog, you can take your dog in part of the restaurant, food was nice and not overpriced, plenty of space to take the dog for a walk, quiet area. The whole hotel was very clean. It looked lovely decorated for Christmas at the time. Cons: I genuinely can't think of any. We loved it here. "
