"This bed and breakfast was absolutely charming. The common space was well equipped with all types of entertainment, puzzles, games, tea/coffee, and a self service honor system minibar. The full breakfast was delicious with plenty of options and the hosts seem to really enjoy sharing their home. The bedroom and bathroom were spotless and comfortable. "Lovely roomy inn in South Bristol, Maine on Christmas cove. The hosts Alex a nd Freddy were very friendly and welcoming. My room was spacious with a private full bath. There is a tower you can go up to via several staircases to an amazing view overlooking the water and pine trees. The made to order breakfasts were delicious. Lots of beverages available at anytime. We had some nice conversations. They are still remodeling and redecorating some areas from their new owership a year ago. "

"We had a very pleasant stay for two nights at the Stonehouse Manor late season at Popham Beach. Our room had a beautiful view of the mouth of the Kennebunk River. In the morning we lay in bed watching the sun rise on the autumn colored hillside by Fort Popham through the large bay window. It was quiet. We strolled the expansive grounds with our coffee admiring the botanical variation particularly the huge old copper beech in front of the manor. A homemade breakfast of Rachels blueberry...

"We had a fantastic winter long weekend at the house with our teenage son. This was our second time staying here. The kitchen was perfectly stocked for cooking our meals and the beds were very comfortable. We relaxed in front of the fireplace and stargazed in the hot tub. The nearby towns are full of great restaurants and bookstores. Our stay really was perfect and we can’t wait to return."
