"I enjoyed my stay at Intercityhotel Leiden. The staff were very nice and helpful whenever I had questions. The rooms were relatively quiet from room to room but there was construction going on so that was noticeable during the day. There’s a lot of restaurants/shops in walking distance which was perfect. "The property is located in central Leiden. It is beautifully situated. The room and general hotel are unique in a good way. The difficulty is the spiral staircase (particularly if you've travelled internationally with a suitcase). The automated doors were new to us, but we adjusted accordingly. Unlike some staffed hotels, it's not possible to check-in early, so it's good to be aware of that when planning. Overall, though, the proprieter was responsive and friendly. I would stay there again. "

"Great place to stay away from the city but public transport can be tricky (running time). Train / bus station is 10 mins walk away and run frequently throughout but just needs planning. I would recommend staying here if you want a quiet and clean place away from the city and don’t mind commuting. "

"Good, clean hotel. Properly located. Two minor sides is basic things like shampoo and conditioner in the showers. There is one body wash/shampoo in one that wrecked my hair. Second, breakfast is not included and very expensive compared to the local prices of food. It is much cheaper to get fresh breakfast from a supermarket close by. "
