「We had a fabulous time. You would never know there was a town 2 miles from the house. It was very peaceful and welcoming. The cottage was very clean and had no issues what so ever. We were able to choose from quite a few events going on in the area and enjoy the fall foliage. 」

「When we arrived at the property, it was exactly as described in the listing and even a little larger than we expected. The setting was beautiful and so peaceful! I loved watching the water from my seat around the fire and listening to all of the woodland creatures going about their day. My son also loved that it was a "classic" Maine Camp.... it was just like one would imagine. We would definitely recommend and stay here again.」

「Hosts Jane and Peter are lovely people and keep their home and property very well maintained. We especially enjoyed amazing sunsets at the lake house and time in the screened in porch. We loved the Mountain Views at Blue Mountain State Park- Center Hill Trail and an overlook along the road nearby. Would highly recommend staying here. 」

「Property was overall clean, water was not very potable and the grill was infested with mice. Only real issue was the listing offered a private boat launch and the key happened to be lost in the mail so our boat launch was unavailable to use which forced our group to use the extremely busy public boat launch 18 minutes away. The host did refund $100 to my account for inconvenience. I feel this was an avoidable problem because we booked months in advance and had conversations with the host about...

「This dog friendly 2BR cottage is right on crystal clear Tripp Lake, with a large screened in porch/family room. It is small but very well appointed and maintained. The weekend we were there it was very quiet, and we had the beach to ourselves. Enjoyed kayaking, hiking nearby, and hearing the loons daily. Owners and manager were very thoughtful and responsive. Highly recommend!」

「We had a great time boating and enjoying this lakeside home. The house was clean inside, and spacious as pictured. We also loved visiting Screw Auger Falls and Moose Caves…just a short drive away. I suggest that there be more kitchen towels available as well as washcloths in the bathrooms. The outside of the home could’ve used some cleanup as well. 」
