「Large clean well equipped house. Stayed with 9 friends for a long weekend. House was perfect for all of us. Plenty of room seating area for all to sit together. 」

「The once lovingly furnished house is unfortunately no longer in very good condition and furnishings. It would need to be thoroughly cleaned and the missing dishes, kitchen utensils, etc. replaced. The chimney flue is not working properly and the pressure of the hot water pipe for showers is poor. What was most annoying was the poor cleaning: cobwebs from the ceiling, thick dust everywhere, the furniture greasy from the fireplace. There was neither a mop mob nor a vacuum cleaner to help yourself....

「My family and I stayed at the French Mill Granary for 3 nights. We really enjoyed it. Our teenage daughter slept in the gypsy caravan which she loved. The garden was fabulous (our dog loved to run and discover various parts) and the swing was a hit. Everyone was very helpful giving us ideas about the places we could visit. We really enjoyed the Isle of Wight and staying at the the Granary which is in a very good location to travel around. Thank you」

「Delightful setting - with country and canalside walks from the doorstep. Welcoming host family live next door and there's plenty of private parking on the shared driveway. Comfortable large bed, bright and clean bedroom upstairs with bathroom next to kitchen area downstairs. Lovely to step straight out of front door at dusk to comfy seats overlooking their beautiful garden at sunset.」

「Nice welcome pack of tea, coffee, fresh milk and biscuits. Also a thank you pack of wine and chocolates at the end of the stay. The house suited our needs, very basic but clean and very warm - the heating was great and the owners popped it on before our arrival which was nice. Lots of sun in the mornings in the dining room, which was very welcome. Some of the down sides were very poor internet service (often had to go outside and stand near the fence to the owners adjoining property to get any...
