「This property was so clean and well presented. There was a lot of thought gone into supplying everything we needed.We would highly recommend this cottage it is absolutely fantastic .」

「We had a lovely stay. The location is great, in the woods along a quiet lane. Very quiet. Connected to nature. The cottage is very small but nice and cosy and great for two people. Bed is comfy. Shower is great. And a shed to keep bikes. All good. Will come again!」

「We had a lovely stay at Kim’s place. It was very clean and comfortable, including very comfy bed. Kim was always quick to respond / communicate and very friendly. Nice location on edge of new forest and next to Blashford Lakes where you can see all sorts of birds. We really enjoyed! 」

「The once lovingly furnished house is unfortunately no longer in very good condition and furnishings. It would need to be thoroughly cleaned and the missing dishes, kitchen utensils, etc. replaced. The chimney flue is not working properly and the pressure of the hot water pipe for showers is poor. What was most annoying was the poor cleaning: cobwebs from the ceiling, thick dust everywhere, the furniture greasy from the fireplace. There was neither a mop mob nor a vacuum cleaner to help yourself....

「We were very lucky with the weather which helps but we love the area as there is always something to do. The cottage was spotless and has all amenities (apart from washing machine no space ) and there was a very nice cake awaiting us as well as tea ,coffee and milk . Parking was fine on quiet street and the garden is a delight. The owner kindly reminded us about the steep stairs but we managed as we did with downstairs bathroom. Overall highly recommended for a relaxing stay in New Forest.」

「Lovely quiet location」

「My family and I stayed at the French Mill Granary for 3 nights. We really enjoyed it. Our teenage daughter slept in the gypsy caravan which she loved. The garden was fabulous (our dog loved to run and discover various parts) and the swing was a hit. Everyone was very helpful giving us ideas about the places we could visit. We really enjoyed the Isle of Wight and staying at the the Granary which is in a very good location to travel around. Thank you」

「A very well maintained property . We were surprised and delighted when we arrived to find the spacious living area on the first floor. It was light and airy and a pleasure to relax and chill out in . There was every appliance you could need to make your stay easy and comfortable. We liked the fact eco friendly soaps etc were there to use .Lovely welcome gift and Mel was very kind about cleaning up before leaving . The property was just off the main high street where there were so many places to...

It is a good central location in the New Forest if you have a car to get around. Nearby places that were close to travel to include Christchurch, Lymington, Brockenhurst and Lyndhurst.」

「The cottage was lovely and had everything we needed for a comfortable short stay with our children. I had a welcome text to check everything was ok, so nice to know someone was at the end of the phone should we need. Good base location situated on the grounds of The Garlic Farm and the shop, restaurant, cafe and games room all came in handy. Parking was easy too. Short drive from Ryde ferry port and Sandown beach. We also had a lovely meal at the recommended The Pointer Inn pub down the road....

「We spent 5 excellent days over Christmas, creating some wonderful memories. This was the second time we stayed here, with the added excitement of families together at Xmas. The house is large so plenty of space for everyone. All beds very comfortable Extensive gardens, and all kinds of outdoor games and outdoor equipment for all ages. Take your microwave as this helps a lot to supplement AGA cooking if you’re not used to cooking on one!」

「Bungalow is in a great area for walking, with views of the Needles and sunsets from the back. Well equipped - even has an air fryer. We found it a comfortable place to relax after a day out and about. 」
