Cabin #20 on Lake McDonald is an absolute gem! We had great communication before and during our stay. Glacier National Park has so much to offer and its beauty will blow you away! It was magical to wake up to its views each morning and a perfect place for our family to spend the week. The cabin is well equipped and having a washer & dryer was a plus! Morning coffee and evening dinners on the boat deck were so sweet, too! I highly recommend booking early and expect to have a memorable time at Cabin #20!

Couldn’t have had a better location. Would have been nice to have information on the use of the portable dishwasher so I didn’t have to bother the host. Also, the windows upstairs were a bit cloudy, which impacted the view from that room. Overall hard to complain when you’re in such a beautiful park.

Best day in Glacier ever! I don't want the secret to get out about how wonderful this place is it is cozy. It is comfortable. It is perfectly situated and it has spoiled me that it's the only place I want to stay when we come to Glacier.

Incredible place and being able to stay in the park is such a giant plus if you are a hiker. Everything in the cabin works and communication with Char was great.

We had an incredible time and are so thankful for this unique opportunity to stay in a cabin on Lake McDonald. Char and Celestine were great to work with and answered all our questions. The house had all necessities and then some. The views, tranquility and location are just perfect. We can’t wait to return!

LakeMcdonald Cabin

The Cabin's location is amazing with views of LakeMcdonald that do not dissapoint and easy access that all that Glacier has to offer. Lots of fun with family and friends over the two week stay. Char was great to work with and very responsive. A Great vacation!

Wonderful place and access to the park

Stayed here with my wife and almost 2 year old daughter as well as family friends with two more kids of 5 and 3 years old. Everything was wonderful; the lake, the cabin, easy access to the park, and walking distance to a small shop and a couple restaurants. It was a surprisingly smooth trip with three little kids. Thank you to the owners for sharing your place and being so helpful!

This is my fourth visit in two years.

The Cabin, and Glacier National Park, feels like home. From the location and amenities to the charming, warm, and homey feel of the Cabin, it just feels like it can't get any better (except the slow wifi - i work when i travel and need wifi).

Once-in-a-Lifetime Trip!

We had to very lucky chance to stay inside GNP in this cozy cabin right on Lake McDonald. It was absolutely wonderful. We did all kinds of hiking, enjoyed the deck and views, and loved the proximity to Lake McDonald Lodge. Char was an excellent host. We have nothing but good things to say. Thanks to the host for sharing this special place!

Can’t beat the location of this property! Right on the water, and just a few minutes walk from the lodge or pizza place for a quick meal. Kayak, boat, and paddleboard rentals just a few minutes walk away as well. Sunsets and sunrises are amazing and the stars at night were spectacular! Quick access to Trail of Cedars and Avalanche Lake trails and Going to the Sun Road. Staying in the park helps so much in beating the crowds for hikes. Cabin has plenty of space and the washer/dryer helped us pack lighter than usual. Apgar Village is just down the road for more food options and water craft rentals. Wi-fi was reliable and kitchen had everything we needed. Camp store was just a stone’s throw when we needed more ice or paper goods. A little hard to find (have to go through the hotel parking lot to find your parking spot), but the privacy was nice once there. Neighbors are right next to your cabin so there will be others outdoors on their docks swimming and such, but everyone was pleasant. Would definitely snatch this one again!

Perfect Location

The location of this cabin can’t be beat. Being inside the park and not needing a vehicle reservation or having to wait in line to get in the park was really great. It was very convenient being able to walk to the lodge, camp store, horse stable, and shuttle stop. The views from inside the cabin and on the deck almost feel unreal, and we were so thankful to have our own private place to hang out right on Lake McDonald.

Fantastic location on Lake McDonald!

Charlene was great to work with! We had our own designated parking spot for the week which was great for loading and unloading the vehicle. We were completely smitten with the lovely views of the lake from our large bedroom windows. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. It was such a relaxing stay!

Beautiful home on Lake McDonald **Excellent location**

This property was the perfect location for our family to use as a home base for Glacier National Park. The only only con for us is that the bedroom with 2 single beds in it is actually a sun room turned into bedroom. Char was the perfect host! Communication was top notch! I would 100% stay here again! said, I would 100% stay here again, again, and again.

Lake McDonald Paradise

We were so excited when we walked into the cabin! It's beautiful, has great amenities and has a view that you can't replace!! I can't describe lying in bed in the morning with the view of the mountains...other than phenomenal! I loved going out on the dock and doing stretches in the morning and drinking coffee. Char was an amazing host and had great communication!! She was absolutely wonderful!
