「We enjoyed every minute of our stay at the farm on top of a hill. The view is unforgettable. The horse next door is friendly too. Very stylish and new. Comfortable beds. Every detail was well thought out from the kitchen organization to the stocked coffee area. This was home base for everything Humboldt could offer, including beaches, redwoods, and good Pizza in Eureka. We will be back for sure!」

「We totally enjoyed this place! Clean and comfortable house set on a cliff overlooking the Eel River in Rio Del. A small group of tall redwoods tower in the back yard, over a landscaped area with a walk path down to the fence where you can sit in the chairs and gaze down the cliff to the river. We spent a lot of the time in the 4 person hot tub! A lot of extra amenities and did i say clean?」

「Situated on a beautiful piece of nature, this was calming and restful. The interior was clean and with lovely decorator touches. I found it perfectly functional with elegant simplicity - kind of like a Scandinavian Zen with all the nice wood tones. The home is also along the route to Shelter Cove which was a beautiful if windy drive and sweet destination (make sure to eat at Gyppos), not far from Avenue of the Giants to the North and all manner of lovely parks to the south with swimming holes...

「The home was great for our family of 9. All bedrooms having a bathroom was a plus. The kitchen provided everything we needed when cooking our meals. The dining room and living room were great for gathering. We were there during a heat wave and opening the windows and using the fans provided cooled the house down quickly and was very comfortable. We very much enjoyed staying in this historic home. Host Michele stayed in touch during our stay and was very helpful.」

「We had a fantastic stay. The hotel has so much history and is beautiful. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The windows opened to the dining courtyard, and we had a view of the river and bridge. We could also hear the live music from below. It was very relaxing. The room was very clean, with nice amenities. We also really enjoyed breakfast and dinner - delicious and well presented.
