Nestled in wooded seclusion, Lonestar is our most private cabin at Ducky’s. The perfect getaway, this modern cabin lacks no comfort or convenience. Featuring a full kitchen, large walk in shower and comfy king beds. Enjoy the 20 acre property adorned with enormous pecan and live oak trees overlooking the vast scenic pasture of highland cows and mini donkeys. Sip your coffee on front porch rockers and catch a glimpse of the deer. At the end of your day, wind down around the large fire pit!

This 750 sq ft cabin is adorned with antique furniture and all the comforts of home including central air/ heat. We use toxin-free cleaning agents, detergents, and pure essential oils with limited scent to make your stay safe and comfortable. The kitchen features polished granite countertops, stainless steel appliances including a full oven/ range/ air fryer, full sized fridge/ freezer and microwave. We have a fully stocked kitchen (pots/ pans, spices, utensils, etc) for your cooking convenience. Choose from 4 different ways to enjoy your complimentary morning coffee (Pour over, French press, drip, or K-cup). We have a Weber Genesis propane grill with everything you need to BBQ!
The beautiful bathroom shower is tiled floor to ceiling with designer tile and bronze accents. The built-in heater creates a toasty room after stepping out of the shower. We have plenty of towels and linens for your stay. The comfy king-sized beds (Beautyrest - medium firmness) have cooling, buttery soft sheets and plenty of blankets to keep you warm on cool nights. Window shades and blackout curtains create a dark oasis for sleepy mornings. We have separate bedside fans for each room for needed white noise.
In the living room, we have a 55 inch HD smart Roku TV (connect all your streaming accounts- Netflix, Disney, Hulu, Amazon, etc) with satellite tv, and blu-ray dvd player. There is also a great selection of outdoor, board and card games to keep you entertained.
Guests will have full private access to the cabin and surrounding area. Guest will also have access to shared areas within the 20 acre property as well.
Contact information will be provided with your stay. We offer contactless check-in. However, we will be available if needed during your stay. Additionally, we offer in-person support/maintenance when needed.
Country Life! We live in a rural area surrounded by ranches, wildlife and stars. The Cutting Horse Capital of the World- Weatherford TX. Enjoy the rolling hills, horses and livestock on your drive in. All roads are paved leading to our property, so all vehicles should have no issue with access. We are also located within driving distance of Granbury, Mineral Wells and Glen Rose TX
It is recommended to come with your own vehicle. We do have Uber/ Lyft/ Taxi in the area, but we are in a more rural setting with more limited availability.
We are 10-15 minutes from downtown Weatherford and 25 minutes from downtown Granbury. 5 minutes from The Springs Wedding & Event Venue. Deep in the heart of Weatherford, Texas - The Cutting Horse Capital of the World. Enjoy the small-town, down home feeling of both of these charming Texas towns.
Keep your vehicle clean from wood chips - One wood bundle (5-6 pieces) of seasoned oak is included with your stay and will burn for approximately 2 hours. Additional wood bundles may be purchased on site for a reasonable price.
Our cabin is most comfortable for 4 adults (or older children) guests. We love kids and welcome them - we have a pack n' play, and extra blankets/ pillows for additional sleeping options. We also have a high chair always available.
- Absolutely NO Smoking on the Property (No Smoking Inside, No Smoking on the porch, No Smoking Outside). NO Smokers.
- Please respect check-in (4:00pm) and check-out (11:00am) times.
- No parties or events allowed.
- No pets allowed.
- Place bagged trash in outside receptacle on side of cabin.
- No unregistered guests allowed.
- Please respect the noise curfew (10:00 pm - 7:00 am) - no outside music.
- Report any issues with neighbors to us immediately
-We share access to the property with our neighbor. Please do not attempt to access their property which is on the opposite side of the long straight road between the pastures.
- No illegal substances allowed on the premises.
