Relaxing getaway
The only challenge was finding the location in the dark so I suggest driving during the daylight. Overall the stay was great. The house felt homey and I loved the addition of the wood fireplace. The hot tub was great for the cold at night. I would recommend this home for anyone looking to get away and get disconnected!

Amazing Location
The location of this home is remarkable. Views of the river from almost every room. Bald eagles seemed to have favorite spots in the trees across the river (seen from the living room with the handily provided binoculars). My daughter is asking if we can visit again in the summer. Note - bring coffee if you are a caffeine addict like me - there is none on site. But very cute local coffee shop 15 minutes away.

We didn't want to leave!
This home is nestled into a beautiful wooded area along the Washsougal River. It was so peaceful and relaxing that we could have stayed another week or two. The log cabin is spacious and quaint. It provided everything we needed from a stocked kitchen, comfy beds, plenty of towels and chairs for hanging riverside. I enjoyed running along the winding roads that provided gorgeous views. We would love to come back and stay here again. We didn't want to leave!

The home was beautiful and the online photos did not do it justice. Make sure you check your emails and Vacasa app for info the day before arriving for entry info and screenshot it. service on phones was impossible. No problem once connected to WIFI.

The Best Getaway in YEARS!!
I highly recommend this home. It was just far enough out but close enough to run into the stores as well. The internet was slow and we loved every minute of that. We played games, did puzzles, cooked amazing meals, drank adult drinks, fished, walked trails, read books, relaxed in the hot tub, sat on the upper balcony watched the river go by, enjoyed the warmth and crackling of the fire, and slept like a baby. It was the PERFECT fall break that was so desperately needed.

Raging river
Start was not so great check in at 4pm but when we got there cleaning person was still there and not done until 515pm. We had a rainy weekend, but it was super relaxing just sitting by fire in the beautiful fireplace watching the raging river through the big windows was awesome. House is nice, all they need to do is update the downstairs bathroom. Hot tub perfect and clean. We tried to hike the private hiking trail that is on the property, but it was deep under water. Plan on coming back for sure to see how it is in summer.

Beautiful home! And Even more beautiful nature and swimming hole outside. I would liked to have seen more of the floor plan in a blue print style to help with planning. We would have packed a little differently for carting things up and down the stairs .

Perfect family visit!
The home was perfect! We had family come in out of town and they had never been to the PNW area. It was the perfect experience for them! They had space, views, trails throughout the property and the river. It was perfect!

Amazing setting, house needs some love
10+++ for the setting. It was magical. We saw deer eating right outside our window on our last night. We got to enjoy listening to the river flow by while eating breakfast outside. The hikes around the property were fun and the setting looked like a Thomas Kinkade painting. It was too cold to do more than dip our toes in the river but the beach would be fun during the warmer times. The house needs some love. The railings for most of the banisters are loose. A safety hazard for kids. The heater wouldn’t work and we had to have a HVAC tech come out to fix it and the directions were lacking when we tried to adjust it ourselves (the literature says there is one thermostat but there are actually 3). One of the remote controls for a fan/light in the living room obviously hasn’t worked in quite awhile leaving the fan to permanently run and no ability to use the light. We were confused on the check out time because the booking said 10 but all the literature left with the directions says that check out is 11. The awning for the top bedroom deck didn’t work. All that being said don’t be afraid to book this home. The setting more than males up for any of the other things that need a little love.

Wonderful Property
Had a wonderful stay at this secluded property, it was everything we could have wanted. Great house with everything provided you need Including river floaties. Excellent location, appreciated the privacy, views, and amenities, FYI that sun is on the private beach earlier in the day. :) We had an 8 month old with us, and the house was mainly tile floors, hard on her pampered Little knees used to carpet But otherwise it was the perfect place to escape. We already plan to come back again!
