The location and restaurant (including the servers) were great. The rooms were fine and they were clean. The front desk overall was not particularly helpful or friendly. I had called ahead of time to let them know we would be arriving late, between 2-3 am, due to a late flight. They said they noted that on our reservation so we wouldn’t be marked as a no-show. When we arrived at 2:30 am, the desk clerk told us we were lucky that she didn’t cancel our reservation - huh? We were also supposed to get free valet parking through Expedia and we notified the clerk about that on check-in, but ion check-out, the desk clerk insisted on charging us for overnight valet parking because she didn’t believe we had free parking from Expedia. So now I get to go sort that out. The desk clerk suggested we not use a third-party platform like Expedia in the future, but booking through Expedia saved us over $200. Also, if the hotel doesn’t want guests to book through Expedia, then they should not offer reservations through that platform. Nice hotel but it was too much of an administrative pain to stay there when it shouldn’t have been.
