Great Place to Stay!
Evergreen Escape was a great place to stay in Wallace! It's cute, clean, comfortable, and has some really nice extra special touches, like a well-stocked coffee bar, record player, and vintage records. I also want to applaud them for using refillable shampoo, conditioner, etc. It's wonderful that they aren't using single-use packaging. Greta was an excellent host and communicator and we appreciated the suggestions for local dining. Super easy check-in and check-out, too. No extra chores that you have to squeeze in before you leave. Great place to stay, and highly recommend riding Route of the Hiawatha if you're in the area. Thank you, Greta!

Beautiful, clean, convenient
This is a great 1 bedroom cozy house that has been modernized and has all the conveniences you need. Check in/out process was communicated ahead of time and very convenient. It’s very comfortable and convenient to Wallace. We walked to town several times and it only takes 5 minutes Everything was very clean and they provided everything you need for your stay including coffee, laundry soap, dishes, etc. TV and WiFi were easy to use. Lovely outdoor deck with seating. It was quiet and peaceful sitting outside. They have games and reading materials inside along with an easy to use electric fireplace. Parking was also very convenient They showed that they wanted us to enjoy our stay. Everything was very much appreciated.

Relaxing Stay in Historic Wallace
This was a cute cabin like residence on the outside with an expansive private deck, surrounded by flowers, a garden, and trees. It was beautifully appointed, modern, and chic on the inside. It had all new finishes, furniture, and appliances on the inside, and a Great coffee bar! Perfect getaway for the weekend or longer. We really enjoyed it and would stay there again.

Comfortable house in Wallace
We really enjoyed our stay--convenient to downtown and house had everything we needed for making dinner in one evening. Wallace is a nice town and this is an excellent place to stay while visiting.

A Great Escape
First off, Wallace is adorable and when you see it from the highway you will pat yourself on the back for deciding to stay here. Who’s the genius that thought of this? Then when you realize where your rental is and see the inside? Super genius. Greta’s house is perfect! Every nook and cranny has had thought put into it. One of my favorites is her coffee and tea bar. I haven’t drank coffee after 2 pm since my 30s but I made coffee after dinner my first night. I couldn’t resist. I would say 50% of my vacation was Wallace as the destination and the other 50% was relaxing and enjoying Evergreen Escape. Rather than pointing out all the fun details of the space I’ll allow visitors to discover them on their own as I did (have vinyl? Bring your favorite albums). I’m already planning my next stay here for some winter play (she has ski and snowboard holders in the entry way!). The house is walking distance from downtown (an easy downhill walk less than 5 minutes). Of course it’s uphill on the way back but not hard and justifies that extra glass of wine at The Fainting Goat or a full order of lasagna at the Blackboard Cafe. Loved loved my stay here and Greta was super easy to work with. #1 best part of my stay? My dog was graciously welcomed and Greta left out bowls and treats for her. 😍 This is easily one of my top 5 places I’ve ever stayed. Thank you so much for sharing your lovely home.

Perfect stay in Wallace
The Host has really thought of everything for amenities. Although we really did not use all the options. I was impressed with how much thought went into it. (ex) multiple coffee choices and games. Love the decor.

Quaint & Cozy
We had a great stay here, this cute and cozy place was perfect for our anniversary get-away. We had everything we needed and more! Bed was super comfortable and there were lots of coffee options. We BBQ'd the first night and everything looked brand new. We have already talked about booking it again in the winter and again for our anniversary. Greta was very accommodating and great to work with! Thanks again!
