Absolutely brilliant

Absolutely great place to stay. It's got everything you need. Very homely in the middle of fruit orchards. Location is perfect to get around the far north. Dog friendly and We will be back next time we come up. Couldn't be happier. Many thanks

Trip Away.

Our stay was just what we imagine, abeautiful place peaceful, relaxing, a small paradise for ten days. A fantastic orchard , full of fruit fresh for breakfast every day.. wonderful!!.

In the middle of nowhere...

Fine bach on an Avocado farm. No luxury, but everything needed was in place. Quietness and calmness overall. Pls. note: Cell coverage poor to nil. But, even this could be a wonderful experience and challenge in this rural ambiente. John, the landlord was very friendly and attentive. As our car broke down he called a friend of him for professional help (at no cost!). We learned that this was neighbourhood help.Thank you Chris.If I ever will be crazy enough to fly 20.000 kilometers into this lovely country I will check-in againThank you John for this wonderful stay.Gregor and JohannaOverall.

Orchard stay, great place for hub to explore the far north

Accommodation is as described. Clean and tidy. Comfortable beds and couch. For elderly parents it was easy access in and out of the cottage. I wasn't keen on the toilet and shower in the same space, but we made do. The cottage is behind John's place, next to the avocado orchard. Weirdly, this wasn't an issue, and didn't feel intrusive as we hardly saw or heard John as ran his daily errands. We saw more of his dog Bo. He's a lovely old dog, well trained and tends to lounge by the front door or porch when he's bored with own place. I'm not a dog person and even I liked Bo.

Peaceful, relaxed place with on and off-site fishing options and close to both coasts. Friendly, helpful host, delicious avocados & great value for money. Would happily stay again

Perfect cheap retreat

The location of this stay is fabulous, East Beach nearby and quick to Far North locations. Host is very nice, friendly and respects privacy. Would love to stay again.

Calm destination

My grandmother Mary worked at the orchard for many years. It was a pleasure to stay and experience a part of her life. I would hear about the orchard throughout my entire life and it was lovely to get the chance to see it. The property is calm, relaxing and private. I highly recommend :)

Perfect unplug

Such a great place to unplug and chill out. Wish we had another couple of nights up our sleeve, we will definitely be back. Took our wee boat and was perfect to launch in the creek and explore. Such great hosts and so nice and relaxed. Thanks John + family, + Beauden :)

Great location!

This was a great spot to base ourselves for fishing the far north. It's quiet and the bach was just enough space for the 3 of us. Our host John, was obliging and friendly. Cell coverage poor though. Overall it was good value for money

Worked out good for us. Cooked our meals and watched freeview telly before bed. Cell coverage poor to NIL. Very quiet at night and friendly well behaved dog.
