we had an amazing stay at Wilber House. the room was extremely comfortable with great fans and air conditioning, the room very clean and fridge stocked with cold water. the staff were extremely helpful and friendly and we felt right at home. it was easy to communicate even with my bad spanish. the breakfast was fantastic and the horse riding tour was unforgettable. the location was perfect. with the horse tour included this is great value for money -don’t think twice about staying here!

Trovati benissimo. Famiglia simpatica e disponibile.Yamy fa delle colazione molto buone con prodotti freschi. Su richiesta è anche possibile farsi fare una cena di polo e riso e fagioli. Giro a cavallo stupendo. Consigliato.

Ich habe den Aufenthalt im Wilber-House sehr genossen. Die Gastgeber sind total herzlich und sehr aufmerksam. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und frisch. Jeden Tag wurde ich zur von mir gewünschten Zeit damit verwöhnt. Den Ausritt und die Führung (Tabak, ecc). War super schön. Einmalig diese wunderbare Landschaft auf einem Pferd (ruhig und sicher) zu erleben! Sehr gerne wieder. War die perfekte Auszeit in Kuba. M. (Schweiz)

Kan varmt anbefales.
Værtinden og resten af familien var super imødekommende og meget behjælpelig. Hun laver helt fantastisk og store mængder mad. Rideturen var ligeledes en dejlig oplevelse og god information omkring kaffe, tobak og rom. Huset lå rimeligt godt placeret i forhold til at gå til restaurant, bar.

Yamy is an excellent host, very welcoming and helpful. We throughout enjoyed the horseback ride through the valley and visit in the tobacco plantation. The breakfast was very generous and tasty. Really recommended!

Excellent welcome and interesting horse riding
The owners are friendly, caring, available. The horse riding was very interesting with the visit of a farm with explanations on the processes of coffee, tobacco y a specific Ron with guayavita very tasty.

Cuando las cosas se hacen con ilusion, cariño y ganas, se forma un coctel difícil de superar. Desde el momento de la reserva todo fue genial, siempre con una sonrisa y alegria. El paseo a caballo, la habitación, el desayuno, el interes y la amabilidad para hacerte sentir super agusto, y además te dan facilitades para todo... te hacen sentirte mejor que en cualquiera super hotel del 5 estrellas. Sin duda, lo recomendare siempre y, ademas, con mucho cariño.

Es una familia encpantadora, agradable y muy atenta, te hacen sentir como en casa, nos sentimos muy agusto, las instalaciones estan muy bien, camas comodas, baño nuevo, minibar y la comida riquisima. Desayuno muy completo. El paseo a caballo fue maravilloso, muy muy recomendable. Volveremos.

Wilber e Yami sono due persone fantastiche e sono contentissimo di aver alloggiato presso la loro casa. La loro casa si trova nella bellissima Vinales e si trova in un contesto silenzioso e tranquillo. La camera era pulitissima. Yami è una cuoca eccezionale, ci ha preparato una cena a base di aragosta buonissima. La migliore di tutta Cuba! La colazione è sempre molto ricca e deliziosa. Ci hanno consigliato tantissime escursioni e hanno organizzato una bellissima escursione a Los Acuáticos per vedere sorgere il sole sulla valle. Inoltre, insieme al marito Wilber, abbiamo passato un bellissimo pomeriggio facendo un'escursione a cavallo e abbiamo visto una finca (ossia una fattoria) dove abbiamo potuto vedere come vengono prodotti a mano i sigari. L'escursione a cavallo è inclusa nel costo della stanza! Per me è stato un piacere alloggiare in questa bellissima casa particular e ringrazio davvero Yami e Wilber per l'ospitalità. Consiglio a tutti di trascorrere qualche giorno nell'incantevole valle di Vinales e presso questa casa

¡Conquistaron nuestro corazón! Es una familia increíble. Tanto Wilber como su mujer Yami y su hija Laura son muy amables y atentos. El entorno es increíble y la visita a caballo fue muy bonita. Al inicio teníamos miedo de hacerlo por nuestra falta de experiencia pero Wilber controla muy bien a sus caballos que son muy mansos (semiautomáticos😋) y nos hizo sentir muy cómodas. El desayuno fue muy completo con café, zumo natural, queso, frutas, tortilla y pastitas Su buscas alojamiento en Viñales, no lo dudes este es tu lugar. Además está céntrica pudiendo ir andando a la zona de resturantes

Yammy and Wilber were the dream host family. The horse ride through the valley with Wilber to the tobacco farm was amazing. A brilliant guide at the plantation explained the tobacco growing process very clearly and you got to try delicious rum, coffee and honey and a cigar which you could then take away with you! Yammy and Wilber were both so kind and helpful, helping me to organise everything I wanted to do in Viñales. I’d wholeheartedly recommend this home stay to anyone visiting Viñales!

Yami l'hôte de cet endroit est très aimable et très aidante. Elle nous a organisé des taxis et nous a aidé à retrouver nos valises perdues par Ibéria. Nous avons été reçu avec des boissons de bienvenue et des bananes frites qui est une des spécialités de Cuba. L'endroit est simple mais très propre, avec la climatisation qui fonctionne bien ce qui est un plus avec la chaleur ambiante. Le petit déjeuner est très bon avec des produits et des fruits frais. Je recommande la balade à chevaux qui reste un très bon souvenir dans une belle campagne et un point de vue incroyable au mirador Mathilda. La halte chez le fermier est très intéressante, attention cependant au prix pratiqués des cigares et de l'alcool. Nous recommandons vivement une halte à Vinales dans cet endroit fort sympathique. Rapport qualité / prix = excellent.

Great warm and welcoming feel.
Staying at Wilber house was an amazing experience. This is largely due to the kindbess and hospitality of the host. Yamy was the perfect host. She explained and organized everyrhing we asked her, withpit being pushy. We really felt welcomwd in her house in a kind and natural eay, that just seems to be her nature. Can’t recommend enough! First and foremost - if this place is still available then book it immediately because it outstanding! The casa along with Yamy, Wilber and her family are so welcoming! The room is lovely and spacious, great shower and handy hairdryer! Great AC and fans. The space for winding down outside the room is perfect. Even better when you get home made crisps and cocktails given to you to replenish the reserves after a long day! Breakfast was theeee best breakfast we had in Cuba (and we stayed for a month and travelled all over) it was so plentiful, and being lactose and gluten intolerant Yamy made sure to maximise on the eggs / fruit and ham so I was full. There was even enough food for packed lunches too. The horse ride was fabulous - very extensive with wonderfully trained horses. We felt very safe with Wilber in charge. Nothing is too much to ask from Yamy and Wilber in fact the thing is - you don’t even need to ask. They are very honest, caring and sincere people. Yany is helpful at every turn with great recommendations and advice. Indeed she was in contact well before we arrived in Cuba to assist with booking transfers/ excursions/everything we needed or any questions we had about Cuba or life there. Will be back again one day for sure, and have already recommended our friends and family to go. On a personal note - this family are the loveliest people and we feel we have made a bond with them in a short time and will be life long friends. Cant wait to see them again.

Mi novia y yo pudimos pasar unos días con esta gente encantadora. La Casa está en un buen lugar en el medio de Viñales con todo a poca distancia. Montar a caballo por los campos de tabaco es hermoso y definitivamente imprescindible. El ama de casa arregló todo para nosotros y estamos muy agradecidos con ella y su familia por nuestra estadía.
