"On the whole, the National Hotel offered very good value for money as far as I was concerned. We were given a very attractive, spacious room, which was one of the best features of this hotel. The breakfast offered was adequate in that there was some variety and reasonably good quality. One staff member in particular, Greta, offered very good service indeed and demonstrated genuine care for all guests. "Being right on the strip, the noise of a night time was terrible from the nightlife and the shipworks that were going on, sleeping was a challenge. Checking in was very difficult without phoning ahead first, and even then our check in instructions were sent to a wrong number. Stayed for 7 nights but didn't once see the cleaner to get our towels and toilet rolls replaced, had to buy our own. The location was perfect though as we are a young couple and really enjoyed visiting the bars right on...

"We stayed at the property for one night and overall had a good experience however the amenities did not meet the 4 star hotel expectations. Staff were great, location is beautiful, room was spacious and quiet however the hair dryer was barely working and the hotel did not have hair conditioner in the room or spa area. For a 4 star hotel experience you would expect this to be available at least in the spa. When we asked the reception if there is any hair conditioner in the building we were told...
