私たちの快適で広々としたオープンスタイルのアパートメントは、カリブの素晴らしい雰囲気を醸し出しています。 宿泊施設は715平方フィートの広場に広がっています。 最大5名様まで、ダブルベッド2台とソファベッドを快適にお楽しみいただけます。 ファンによって換気された10フィートの天井は、昼と夜の両方で新鮮な熱帯の空気を循環させる。 ビエケスの美しいビーチのひとつで太陽の光を少しでも奪うと、エアコンも完備しています。

First time on Vieques
Val and Freddy were great hosts! Very friendly, happy to give recommendations, and great with communication. Freddy met us at the car rental to show us to his beautiful property. The last stretch of road is not paved, but honestly the paved roads were in worse condition. The loft was very comfortable and had everything you could need. I really appreciated having for complete sets of snorkel gear! Sometimes with rentals you get a pile of random mismatched stuff in disrepair, but not in this case. We only needed the a/c one night, most of the time the mountain breeze and plentiful fans were more than enough.

Island getaway

Secluded hillside almost paradise.
Casa Coqui Verde is a thoroughly beautiful and well maintained off the beaten path spacious one room apartment with open living and dining space and a small but sufficient kitchen area for those who want or need to cook their meals. The Hosts are very welcoming, generous, and helpful as you will need some help getting oriented to this less touristy part of the island. Beach chairs, umbrella, 3 sets of snorkeling equipment, a large, lovely shaded, private patio where you can chill, eat or just enjoy the glorious hilltop breezes. You will definitely need a car (not a golf cart!) to get to and from this somewhat remote hillside location. Expect to hear a chorus of Coqui toads in the evenings and many roosters crowing well before dawn and you won’t be surprised. This animal friendly island does not care about your normal sleep habits. While it’s remote location may not be ideal for everyone it is still possible to enjoy all parts of the island from here and even get to know the « real » local character of Isabel II.

Great Hosts!
Freddie and Val went out of their way to make our stay an enjoyable and memorable one. Freddie even inflated the tire that had gone flat on the golf cart I had rented. The apartment is clean and comfortable, and the veranda offers great views of the surrounding area. As other guests have mentioned, snorkeling and beach chairs/umbrella are available during your stay. We definitely hope to stay here again.

Fantastic
Freddy and Val were gracious and accommodating hosts. They picked me up at the airport, took me to get my rental car, and were always communicative and helpful. The unit is spacious, and the view is even more amazing than the photos! I would definitely stay again.

Issues
The scenery was beautiful. I was disappointed bcz we were there 4 days, but clean towels were not provided until i asked for fresh towels. Had problem with the A/C leaking. The repair man was to suppose to have check it, but never showed up. i could never keep the room cool enough. Other than these issues, all was good.

Amazing stay!
I could write a book about how perfect our time in Vieques was! Staying at Villa Borinquen was just the icing on the cake. Freddy met us as soon as we got off the ferry and allowed us to rent his car for a few days to explore this magnificent island paradise. Their home is secluded, on a hilltop with a nice breeze, perfect for a relaxing evening after hitting the beaches all day. The property is fully stocked with everything you need. Lots of beach chairs, coolers, snorkeling equipment, etc. We will definitely be back!

Almost perfect
Freddy and Val are wonderful hosts. They made sure to meet us promptly upon arrival and were greatly concerned when we were temporarily "lost" one night. That issue is why I only rate location as a 3. Navigating to the property in the dark is difficult for oldsters ( we are 83 and 70) but would probably be easier for younger guests. The location is wonderful for that evening breeze making it bug free. The use of all the beach gear including snorkel stuff for 4 was great. The house was very clean. My one recommendation is installation of another light in the kitchen area and maybe a bigger refrigerator if guests were staying longer and really wanted to cook! Thank you Freddy and Val

Off the Beaten Path Ocean Views
Valerie and Freddy were wonderful hosts! Family(3 adults were in our party) was picked up by Freddy at the ferry terminal while another family member picked up our rental car. Casa Coqui Verde is not in town so transportation will be needed. We were greeted by two very friendly dogs and then stepped down to our loft(see pictures for this unit) and got our first glimpse of the ocean views. Loft itself was outfitted perfectly, anything needed for a day at the beach was at the ready. Nice open floor plan with lots of books, puzzles and games. Internet available and large screen TV worked flawlessly. On top of a hill, it was quiet and secluded. Dropping a pin when we first arrived made traveling back to Casa Coqui Verde after a day out an easy endeavor. Be mindful that Vieques's roads aren't interstate quality roads. With that in mind drive slowly and be on the look out for the horses and lizards that populate the island. Sun Bay Beach was very nearby and a little further drive on the same side of the island, the expansive Blue Beach was beautiful. We enjoyed our stay!

Lovely little house in Vieques
We had a wonderful stay at Val and Freddy’s! The view from the deck is amazing and we saw two rainbows! My boys loved their sweet dogs and enjoyed driving our golf cart rental up and down the dirt road to their house. Val and Freddy were so kind and accommodating. We fell in love with Vieques and definitely would stay at their house again!

Worry-free vacation
This is a great place to set up as a family base for exploring Vieques. Val and Freddy made everything worry-free, and we were able to borrow all kinds of beach gear and supplies that we couldn't have brought with us. We visited 9 beaches in 3 days! The casa is a bit hard to get to, but it is worth it for the hospitality and the dogs.

Beautiful retreat in the hilltops of Vieques!
We had an amazing stay at Val and Freddy’s property! The apartment is located very near (about 6 minute drive) from Isabell II, which has great restaurants and shops. It is nestled in a hilltop, so the views from the patio were lovely. There are two sweet doggies that live on the property that welcomed us home everyday (they are not barkers:). The house is about a 15 minute golf cart ride to Esperanza, the other main town that is close to lots of the beaches. The house was well appointed and had everything we needed, including beach towels, beach umbrella, snorkel gear for 4, camp chairs, coolers, boogie board, etc. this was great, as the small plane we took from San Jaun had strict baggage limits! Val and Freddy picked us up at the airport and dropped us at the golf cart rental then we followed them back to their house. They also stocked the fridge with essentials so we had food to eat the first evening and breakfast for a few days. They were super knowledgeable and suggested their favorite beaches and activities. We hope to return sometime soon! I am already missing the peace and quiet and beautiful (nearly empty) beaches!!

Best VRBO Hosts Ever. This is the best place to stay in Vieques.
We were treated like family. Val and Freddy were always just a text away. They picked us up at the ferry, and in the morning Freddy drove me to pick up my golf cart I rented. He gave me a tour to get my whereabouts and help me understand where to go. Their place had everything: games, snorkeling gear, chairs, a hammock, DVDs, and more. More importantly than that, we felt cared for during every moment of our stay.

Fantastic Place to Stay
What a great place for vacation. Val and Freddy are fantastic hosts and were a complete joy! Such welcoming hosts!
We booked because of all the amazing reviews Val & Freddy received, and after visiting, it’s understandable why! They are so absolutely kind and informative and made our stay in Vieques wonderful. They not only helped us before our visit with lots of tips and information, but also picked us up, dropped us off to the airport and also let us rent their vehicle! I think they went above and beyond a normal VRBO host for our family of 4 (with two teens) and the place was far more spacious than staying at a typical small hotel room. We truly appreciate you opening up your home, Val & Freddy.

Absolutely WOW!!!!
Simply cannot recommend visiting Vieques and staying at this property enough! My family and I had the best time here! Also cannot say enough about how genuinely kind and helpful Freddy and Val are as the host and hostess. They are as involved or in the background as you need them to be. If fact we hardly knew they were there but the second we had a question they immediately were there with an answer. From the initial booking they were immediately making sure we had the best chance for a successful trip. They recommended transportation to the ferry, things to check out and book ahead of time, a list of things they had available and so much more. We were able to rent their vehicle for the week which was huge due to demand causing all other rentals to be booked. They picked us up from the ferry and even picked up some groceries for us since we were getting in late. The apartment is beautiful with an awesome view and far exceeded our expectations. Freddy and Val had everything we needed along with several recommendations of where to eat, where to shop and things to do which were all perfect. Val even set up an opportunity for my daughter to volunteer at the humane society because she knew my daughter loved dogs! They both were truly there to try to give us the best trip possible. I cannot thank them both enough and when we left it was like leaving new members of our family. We cannot wait to come back to Vieques and there is no doubt where and with whom we will be staying! Vieques Take Me Back ASAP!!
Val & Freddy are the absolutely best!! They picked us up at the airport took us to the car rental place made sure we could make it around the island, not only that but it was our honeymoon and they had us a bottle of champagne and a card. Just the best. It was the communication ahead of time that sold me at first on how helpful they were. The place is cleaned beyond expectation, and everything we could want was at the rental. Just can't say enough good things about Val and Freddy, if you are going to Vieques this is the place you want to stay. The outdoor patio area is the best also. JUST FANTASTIC!! do yourself a favor and pick this place to stay.
