Special place with a unique proximity to wildlife and nature, uninterrupted. Perfect for everyone wanting to take a deep breath, to recharge, and to leave the noise of big cities aside. Also, a place for comfort lovers; you have everything necessary to keep good quality living standards.
We are very grateful for this unique experience and a feeling like home while thousands of miles away. Waking up with the subtle sounds of nature, hearing birds and hawley monkeys, having a morning coffee with the best view is truly transformative.
Couple tips for future guests: there is a big chunk of a dirt road before you reach the house, and if, like us, you decide to stay during rainy season, it’s critical to have 4-x drive and to remember that road changes constantly (after each session of rain that can last anywhere from an hour to a whole day). 20 min drive to
the closest beach (Playa Avellanas and Playa Negra). Around 30 min to Tamarindo and 40-45 to Brasilito.
Also, expect wildlife visitors; we had frog concerts every other night. Iguanas and geckos come around all the time; sometimes you can have small snakes and scorpios around (night time) No need to worry or get hysterical - just read some essentials for
Costa Rica and ask Christi, the property manager. It was a great experience for our son who loves wildlife. And It’s Costa Rica, the country of 3% of all biodiversity after all. So enjoy it!
