"The gite was wonderful, everthing possible was there for the guests use….torch, matches, cleaning products, extra toilet rolls etc. We were welcomed with the most amazing pack of food products including beer & wine. The bed is super comfortable with additional blankets if needed, the large shower is great as well. The area/local towns were a little too quiet for us but we made the most of it….and it is out of season. "

"Arrival - we found the property with no issues. Property zip code took us straight there. Bedlinen and bathrooms were clean. Flies were a problem, mushroom growing in the shower, tiles in shower need updating and replacing, door latch plates were all loose (made doors difficult to close), we didn't manage to get the tv working at all, light fittings in the kitchen were hanging dangerously from the ceiling, oven very dirty and difficult to light (think the gas jets needed a clean - i gave up),...

"Tolles Haus, wunderschönes Anwesen mit Park. Eigener Fluss mit Kanus,die Möglichkeit zu Fischen, Volley Ball, Badminton, Trampolin. Schöner Whirlpool/ Schwimmbad. Wir waren mit 23 Leuten da zwischen 6 Monaten und 60 Jahre. Platz war für alle, gut eingerichtete Küche und Esszimmer für gemeinsame Frühstück und Abendessen. "Idyllic setting in a tiny village surrounded by farmland. Plenty of walks with very little traffic to worry about. Small town nearby with a couple of restaurants and a supermarket. Historic town of Cognac under an hour away with plenty of shops and bars. The property itself is superb. Very well kitted out with everything that you could possibly need. It’s hard to imagine a more perfect place for a bit of quiet time and a place to relax. Heated pool and a games room with snooker table...

"Such a great house! Will definitely return when the pool is open! As described, very spacious, lots of outside space including pizza oven and bbq. Lots of covered outdoor space for all weathers. Gates close so perfect for dogs. Restaurants/bars/supermarkets only 5 minute drive. So peaceful and quiet and typically French 😊"

"We stayed at the hotel as part of a long drive back from the South West of France. The people working at the hotel were super helpful, providing an option to manage our late arrival, providing breakfast at short notice and helping with any questions we had. The family room we stayed in was large and easily accommodate two adults and two kids. "
