「一番安いStandardのツインの部屋だったため、狭くて快適ではありませんでした。しかも古いホテルのため、エレベーターがなく、3階までスーツケースを持って上がらなくてはなりませんでした。エアコンもないですし、設備面を考えると正直に言うと5つ星のホテルとは思えません。 3つ星レベルです。スーペリア以上の部屋だったら、違ったのかもしれません。スタッフの方は最初にMapを使って案内をしてくれて親切ですし、朝食もとても美味しいので、その2点は素晴らしいのですが。」

「Can't fault the service, the breakfast was great, the staff friendly and they even did us pizza as we was running very late and missed dinner. The room was okay, only negative was the bed was small and you couldn't stand to shower, had to sit in the bath and hold the shower head, but it was fine.」

「クレセントとサークルの間にあり、観光にはとても便利です。水回りがやや古く、シャワーは旧式のものです。バスタブがある部屋に泊まりましたが、共用のバスタブもあります。ファミリータイプの部屋に泊まる場合は便利かもしれません。ただし共用バスにシャワーはついていません。こじんまりとしたB&Bといった位置づけです。遅くのチェックインの場合は玄関に鍵があり、勝手に入るスタイルとなるので、直前にそのやり取りがあり、少し手間取りました。客層は年齢高めで落ち着いた感じです。」

「タオルが大判1枚のみ、次の日には交換なし、メイキングされたベットの上に濡れた使い済みのタオルがおかれていました。交換してもらおうにも受付は8時で締め切り、朝食も込みだっったのに、パンとヨーグルト系であとはメニューに金額が書かれていて別料金でした。バースでもう一つのホテルに泊まりましたが、安い料金で込みでした。広い部屋にタオルも三種類用意されていてフルーツにバースの温泉水も用意されていました。」

「Loved our stay at the Lighthouse. We arrived rather late after a full day at Longleat, but it was easy to find and had plenty of parking. Check in was friendly and the room was lovely and impeccably clean. Breakfast was tasty and my gluten/dairy free husband was well catered for and my son couldn’t wait to try out the play area! Just a lovely stay all round. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again the next time we visit the area.」

「春から高校生になる娘と2週間の二人旅。バースには電車で立ち寄り一泊。駅からの近さ(徒歩3分)と宿泊料の安さにフォーカスして移動当日の朝に探し、申し込んだがスタッフの迅速な対応で最初から信頼できそうな宿だと感じた。チェックイン、チェックアウトの時間が変わったり、英語に慣れていない私たちに、嫌な顔をせず自分から色々確認、対応してくれてさらに信頼増。建物は古く部屋は質素だが共用バス含めリフォーム済みで全体が清潔。朝食は素晴らしかった！リフォームして間もないのか、室内の家具のラッカーの匂い？がきつく、娘は連泊でなくて良かったと話していた。選んだのが駅前なのと金曜だった事もあり想定内でしたが夜中に通りから酔っ払いの大声が何度かきこえた。自分達の予算や旅行の主旨、移動手段、諸々考えると、このゲストハウスは良い選択でした。」

「We stayed here for my husbands birthday weekend Joss welcomed us like family. The room and serivce was amazing We was made to feel so welcome. Joss had a card sent to our room for jons birthday Which was a lovely touch. The area is stunning and so quiet. 「Easily one of the best stays I’ve ever had. The property is strategically located in relation to the station and the town centre. Steve is incredibly kind and accommodating. My room was quiet, clean, cosy and exquisitely decorated. Same goes for the bathroom. The breakfast station was abundantly stocked and new supplies were added every day. UK plugs and USB ports are provided. I truly appreciate the level of thought that was put into making guests comfortable and will definitely book again! 」

「Generally a good stay - the apartment is a good size and very comfortable! Lots of good amenities within a couple of minutes walk from the apartment. Only down side is that the corridors and doors are noisy (You can hear people talking loudly in other apartments down the hall!) so bring ear plugs, and a street light was fixed directly outside the window, and the apartment didn't have blackout blinds so the room was light all night.」

「The apartment is beautifully decorated and of a high standard. The location was perfect for us - lots of shops and restaurants nearby as well as attractions. Bud and train station are also convenient although we didn’t use them. Paid parking lot is right across the street. Overall we loved it here !」
