"This hotel is fantastic! Easy to find from the airport, the Metro exit is just metres from the hotel door. Very clean room with great facilities and comfortable bed. Breakfast was good with plenty of choices and eggs cooked to order. The little daily gifts left in the room were a real treat. Best of all, the staff were amazing, very friendly and helpful. It was my first time in Lisbon but I will return and definitely stay here. Very highly recommended."

"Everything about the hotel was great except for the limit of 3 devices per room to sign into the hotel’s wifi. We each had phones and tablets equaling 4 devices. As a result, we had to go down to the hotel desk every night to get a 1 day code for the 4th device. We found this very inconvenient. "

"We had a great stay at Chalet d’Avila! The room was spacious and comfortable and the location was easy to hop on the metro. Breakfast was a highlight and we appreciated the snacks, coffee, and tea that were provided throughout the day. Be aware that if you book the “family room” there is only one double bed and a sofa bed that can be made up. We didn’t realize this and sleeping on the sofa bed wasn’t as comfortable as a real bed. "The location was good not to noisy or busy. Didn't realise it was right next to Benfica stadium and there were a couple of matches on while we were there. Bathroom was knackered, sink area needs replacing as water damaged over a long period of time. One dishwasher tab provided and a tea towel. No oven gloves or and other kitchen cleaning stuff. Everything else worked. Bed was like marble slab and pillows were very small. I personally didn't well during our stay. Overall not a bad hotel but could...

"Great choice for a mid-range hotel. Only two blocks from the metro, across the street from large grocery store, and walkable to many shops and cafe. Allow 15-20 minutes to get to Chiado. Staff was very courteous and wifi fast. Only critique is that it would be nice to have USB charging ports in the rooms."
