The room was comfortable. The place is new. The setup is really stupid considering they had 5 acres to get it right.
You pull up to the door and there’s just one awning for one car. This was a mess because it was pouring. It was chaos, confusion, and anger at the door. It was a complete headache and shuffle and there’s no way to ditch the car until you check in. Once you check in, they give you a parking lot access pass to get into an uncovered parking lot a quarter mile away. Then, you walk back on the road to get back to the hotel because no one cared enough to put a damn sidewalk directly back to the front door. So, enjoy your walk in the rain while dodging cars.
Once you get in, it’ll take you 20 minutes to unjam the sliding door in the room and if you’re over 40 or have compromised movement, you’re very likely to die getting out of the bathtub/half-ass shower/swimming pool in the bathroom without any grab handles onto a floor that is 100% completely soaked because there’s only a tiny glass divider for the shower. So, if you use the shower, there’s no way to effectively keep the water in the pool. It’s the dumbest design I’ve ever seen in my life and someone is going to die there. It’s an absolute guarantee. There’s no way to get out of the pool tub without sitting on the edge, swiveling, and landing on your feet in all the water that made it out. I’m 49, tall, and fit and had a hell of a time. If someone is short and old, it’s a death sentence.
Good food.
