When we arrived they claimed they didn’t have our booking, they then tried to put us in a room that was of a lower standard than we had paid for, we had to insist, unfortunately communication was very poor.
This lack of communication made everything very difficult and frustrating.
We booked one of the cottages, which are located on the roof, this resulted in us hearing road noise 24/7
Breakfast was very disappointing, we ended up only eating once at the hotel.
The bathroom had no storage whatsoever, all items ended up on the ground. (There are numerous furniture stores down the road)
Our booking included transfers to the airport, we had to argue our point regarding this inclusion, which we eventually received via the owner driving us.
All in all not a pleasant experience staying at Vimala.
