Finding accommodations for 16 women on a bach trip was a trip in itself. We were thrilled to find a place that checked the boxes. *Several* bathrooms with showers, two kitchens, plus a pool, hot tub, and beachside location sold us. We were bummed to realize that sleeping 3 people to a king bed was the way by which this listing "technically" accommodated a party of our size (do your math, tho listing has changed to max 14)- Some slept on couches, etc. The company provides the bare minimum in terms of household items despite the home's setup/"has everything". No beach towels, as stated, but also no anything otherwise associated w/ the beach part of the beachfront rental. We were also dumbfounded by the lack of a pool skimmer for the weekend, and took shifts manually "catching leaves", it was weird. Their starter kit (inclusive of 2 rolls of TP (read that bathroom line again^) &1 spare paper towel roll of the worst kind of PT that just melts) meant we spent time and money just making sure we could keep the kitchens (and our butts) tidy. What really sent us though, is that despite having all the glassware you can imagine and drawer exclusively filled with steak knives, there was no salt & pepper in the place! No coffee filters for either of the TWO coffee makers! But whyyy?! The company apparently removes all signs of humanity/paper products between stays. We already begrudgingly packed beach towels in our *carry on luggage* & then made several trips to the store to get the basic things needed to actually use the house. We felt obligated to remove even the remaining toilet paper we'd purchased, something we'd normally "pay forward" if you will. POINT IS it was great to all be able to stay together, but the little things irked us. Like other guests, we discovered holes in walls/flooring and a barely warm hot tub, and we even got a parking ticket for parking outside the driveway gate. I didnt see mention of that anywhere... it may have been avoided if we didn't have to split up to travel to a separate location to pick up keys. Once we did THAT, check-in was easy enough. :) I was sad tho to find the cleaning crew waiting outside nearly *a full hour* before our check out, especially since we couldn't just leave the keys for them-- we had to hoof back to the main office. Still, mostly things we could soon laugh about. We had a memorable time in a cute spot w/ prime location & gorgeous views! Dolphins, folks, DOLPHINS! ;) Also the office gal is nice.
