Welcome to your retreat that's conveniently located close to the beach, to restaurants, and much more! This quaint 1950's era cottage (previously named, Cozy Cottage) is an easy 5 minute walk to the ocean, to several restaurants and to Jaycee Park. It is a great spot to enjoy your Tybee time whether you're seeking quiet solitude or connection to the island community (or a combination of both!)

Hermit Crab's Cottage is a refurbished 2 bedroom, 1 bath bungalow and is ready to welcome guests to Tybee Island! The home offers a full kitchen, living area, and 2 bedrooms furnished with queen size beds. The living room and both bedrooms each have a TV with basic cable and Roku for streaming your favorite entertainment. The bedrooms share a Jack-n-Jill bathroom with a standing shower. For music lovers, there is a quality stereo to play your favorite tunes from your device.

With multiple outdoor spaces, you will be able to enjoy the outside in any weather. There is a fully fenced-in backyard with seating areas and decks in the sun and in the shade. There is a spacious screened porch with comfortable seating and a hot tub (with speakers connected to the inside stereo.) An outdoor fire pit is also located in the backyard to warm you up on a chilly night. There is a gas grill and an outdoor dining set (seating for 4) on the side deck.

Did we mention the hot tub and the outdoor shower? Rinse off after the a hot sandy day at the beach. Warm up those cool winter nights in the hot tub, which is inside the screened porch living area.

This cottage is situated on a quiet street in the North End of Tybee where you can enjoy a restful vacation experience without giving up convenience. This home is a great retreat for a couple, a few close friends, or a small family vacation.

To access the main beach, take an easy stroll just 4 blocks up a quiet unpaved road, with no busy traffic to cross on your way. For the "active life" and families, there is easy access to Jaycee Park with its playground, frisbee golf, basketball court and walking trails. Biking is a joy on the island! (look for specially marked roads in some neighborhoods.) Within a 5-10 minute walk, you will also find several shops and local dining options.

This home is pet-friendly, for an additional fee. Please know ahead, NO DOGS ARE ALLOWED ON THE BEACH at any time.

HOUSEKEEPING: Cleanliness is always a top priority and so is being TOXIC FREE! When possible we use non-toxic cleaning products infused with essential oils to clean, freshen and sanitize. Our high cleaning standard is designed for our guests' safety and health, and to be responsible stewards of the environment.

MINIMUM NIGHT REQUIREMENTS: Minimum night requirements may vary by dates of stay, and usually become more lenient for last-minute bookings.

PETS: This home is pet friendly for up to two (2) adult dogs and additional pet fees. Cats are not allowed.

It's a great spot with plenty of room to hang out. Nice yard for the pup to sniff around and has very easy parking. Very close to all the sights and things to do. Bring your bikes and ride anywhere with ease.

Cutest little cottage ever! Very clean & everything there you need. The big plus was the jacuzzi! Short walk to the beach. Great location. Quick response from the host with any questions when needed. Our little dogs enjoyed the enclosed deck & fenced in yard. My husband wants our next stay to be longer because he enjoyed it so much.

Great little place
We loved this little house, it was cozy but had everything we needed. The screened in area in the back was a wonderful area to hang out in. We brought our dog Victoria with us and she enjoyed exploring the yard. The fenced yard was great, it’s low in some areas- more for small dogs. We enjoyed walks around the neighborhood and down to Jaycee park. There are several great places to eat within a short walk and beach access was not far at all. We were there during the hurricane- the owners checked on us during our stay to make sure everything was good. We would definitely stay here again.

Quiet vacation rental meets all of our expectations
We will definately be back to this clean, well-stocked cottage. This is the perfect place if you want to be on the quiet side of Tybee. You can ride bikes anywhere on the island. The locals, as well as the hosts, were very friendly. We felt so much at home here. Thank you, Mick and Dana. We hope to be back next year!!!

Beautiful cozy beach bungalow

This is a perfect little cottage... shh don't tell!
This little cottage is one of the few with lots of outdoor space to enjoy. It's well equipped with everything you could need for your stay, and many extras too. The theme is beachy, but tasteful. The neighborhood is very quiet too. You'll love it!

Loved this property!
Perfect, quiet, comfortable little cottage. The space was cozy, we felt safe and relaxed here. Couldn’t believe how comfortable the beds are and I have had spinal surgery. The back yard was a great shaded space for our dog, I think he enjoyed it as much as we did. We spent most of our time in the screened porch off the garage, it was the perfect place to enjoy being outdoors any time of day. Absolutely loved the plants and decor, not to mention the string lights and sound system! The hot tub was the best part of all, comfortable for at least 3 people!

The location was great! You could walk to the beach, lighthouse, shops, and restaurants which is important on Tybee because it costs to park almost everywhere. The hot tub was wonderful also.

Great stay!
We really enjoyed this little cottage during our three week stay. We spent most of our time on the deck with our morning coffee, a glass of wine, enjoying the birds (lots of osprey!), reading, and playing guitar. Since the weather was a bit chilly at times, the hot tub was a must after a day on the beach or a long bike ride. We had several bonfires, too. The outside areas were great! Such pretty gardens! The beds were super comfortable and the house was well-stocked with almost everything we needed. The location is excellent! Lots of nearby beaches and restaurants. The Polk Street Beach was our favorite. Never crowded and a great spot to watch the container ships or a sunset. The Tybee Post Theater is just a ten minute walk away and we saw five shows during our stay. We parked our car and walked, biked, or took the rented golf cart everywhere we wanted to go. A great stay and we hope to be back again.

Awesome and Cute Cottage
We enjoyed our stay at this cute decorated two bedroom cottage. It is on a quiet side street and the beach access is down the street and within a few minutes walking distance. We enjoyed the fire pit outside and the hot tub in the screened in separate porch building. The kitchen and cottage was supplied with all the things we needed like cookware, dishes, towels etc. Dana & Mick were easy to communicate with if we had any questions. I would highly recommend this place to enjoy your stay on Tybee!
