The house was clean, well-appointed, and had ample seating options inside & out. The comfortable sleeping arrangements accommodated our group of three, but it can easily accommodate large groups. The hosts were dog-friendly, which was greatly appreciated.
The kitchen was stocked with spices, utensils, and cookware, making it easy to prepare meals. Additional amenities like laundry and a second fridge were convenient for longer stays.
We enjoyed the lovely lake views from various areas, especially the private dock, where we could observe the sunrise and sunset.
There were plenty of options for activities, including fishing, water toys, a grill, hot tub, fire pit, kayaks, and a pontoon. For indoor entertainment, games, puzzles, DVDs, and dish network were available. The hosts provided brochures and handwritten notes about local attractions, helping us plan our outings.
Cell coverage was non existent at the cabin, but that was fine with us. We had to make one call, & a hike to the top of the hill gave us a few bars to call out. There is a landline available as well if you need it, & the internet service is fast enough if you need to look a few things.
Clear instructions were provided for house care, & the owners were available for any questions.
We found the lake peaceful, even during Memorial Day weekend.
Overall, our stay was a wonderful & tranquil mountain escape. We would gladly return in the future.
