"It was a large facility with a beautiful view of the lake. The view was even better due to the leaves changing colour. The hot springs baths were wonderful. The meals were spectacular as well."

"They seem to be short staffed though it’s probably the norm for hotels like these but still very satisfied with my stay here. The room was very large especially for Japan and the staff was friendly and accommodating. It’s a bit of a walk to the station but doable. Try staying on the main road to the hotel. We took a back road after stopping at a convenient store and had to walk on a road with no sidewalk with our luggage. "

"I missed checking in because I did not catch the shinkansen. Nevertheless, when I called to try to cancel, the lady at the other end of the line was extremely helpful and did her best to provide the best service. Although cancellation was not possible because it was done through Expedia (who by the way was not responsive at all), they offered to accommodate us the next morning to eat breakfast and stay in the room until checkout time st 11AM."

"The room was on the small side, but the amenities were great. The best of course was the onsen on the top floor. Very relaxing, with free ice cream in the evening and free probiotic drink in the morning. They also had free drinks (soda) in the afternoon in the restaurant, and a free half bowl of Ramen from 9:30 in the evening. This is a little bit of a walk from the station, but definitely top of my list when I go back. "

"At first, the Starbucks entrance confused me but I was helped. The location is convenient to everything and the staff was very nice. The only critique would be that there are no dressers, not sure if this is typical or if it depends on room selection. There was no iron, so I couldn't press my shirts. These are just minor issues that did not take away from my overall experience "

"Pretty close to Morioka Station, this hotel is clean. The available carpark is not free and quite limited in spaces. Not really suited to families as there weren't any family rooms available. It's called Hotel Jin Morioka Ekimae, but it's really behind the station which is a quieter area with minimal dining and shopping."

"Excellent hotel that is clean and well managed. The staff were lovely. The rooms are standard for a Japanese hotel, the only thing pointing out is that the walls seem to be very thin, meaning you will hear things from other rooms and the corridor. Overall a great stay."

"The hotel was conveniently located steps away from the JR station. Morioka has no subway, so aside from the JR station, accessing other parts of the city requires walking, taxi or bus. The hotel is adjacent to many good dining options near the station, and is a 20-minute walk to Iwate Park. "We only stayed one night in Morioka but would have happily remained a little longer at this hotel. The room and bed were comfortable, and the staff were very pleasant. The breakfast buffet was by far the highlight, with a wonderful variety of hot and cold options, and plenty of vegetarian dishes for my husband. I wanted to try I've of everything but just couldn't fit it all in! It was also an easy walk from the JR station (12-15 minutes)."
