This is a hard review to write... my wife and I have stayed at dozens of VRBO vacation units, and the lowest rating we've given up to this point is a 4, so were not hard to please. First the good: The Ski Trails condos are a great location if you want true ski in / ski out location without being right in the village. The condos are located amongst the trees with great views and a quiet location while still being a short walk to the village and everything it has to offer. Our unit was clean, well stocked with just about everything we needed. For the not-so-good, there's a long list and I'll keep this as concise as possible. Upon our arrival, the entry code we were given for the keyless entry pad did not work. We tried the code many, many times and at different speeds in case it was sensitive to how fast the buttons were pushed. After these attempts, we finally called their customer service line and was connected to a person that was not local and appeared to be reading from a script when answering our question / comments. They in turn had to call a local person who was going to call me and provide assistance, which took several more minutes and happened after we were finally able to gain access. That guy admitted that the new keyless entry locks were temperamental and not consistent. The next day after returning from skiing, we were met by a guy coming out of our rental unit and introduced himself as a plumber there to fix the fireplace which apparently wasn't working. We didn't care so much that the fireplace wasn't working and he couldn't fix it on that visit, but that the property manager Vacasa sent a plumber there without notifying us in advance. We left that morning with our computers, wife's purse, and other valuables left out in the open which we wouldn't have done had we known someone was coming in. Not cool to say the least. That evening, my wife took a shower and said the water pressure was low and the temp was hard to adjust, and during my shower, the shower valve handle came off in my hand! We called Vacasa customer service and was told they would be sending a local to resolve the problem, which they never did. The following day, we again had problems with the entry lock, and it took another 25+ minutes to get the code to work during which we called customer service and requested someone come out, which did happen and that issue was successfully resolved by reprogramming. More issues and no more words allowed, beware
