"Clean and nice place "

"Staff all professional and friendly. I would like to specially mention Javier who was very attentive and professional. The room is spacious and good size balcony. Communal areas are nice and welcoming. I have only use the swimming pool in the Rooftop pool once. The swimming pool was clean and big enough. The water was warm. Beautiful views from the rooftop. The location is very good close to town centre, train and beach. Lots of places to eat near by. "

"I was really pleasantly surprised with this hotel, for the price I really can’t find any fault, it was very clean, the room was big, no more noisy than any other hotel. Location is great if you want to be in the centre of town, train station and shops right outside. Beach is only 10 minutes walk down a pretty little cobbled street. "

"Stayed for one week towards end of March. A great welcome when we arrived at nearly 10pm. Cold buffet served to us in our room shortly after we checked in as we had missed out on our evening meal. Room and bathroom, clean and tidy. Excellent selection of food and nicely presented. Majority of staff polite, friendly and respectful. Yes I would stay again. "

"This was our second day at the Occidental, unfortunately that air-conditioning was not working for our day which we were not made aware of on check in. Our room was ready early when we arrived and we were allocated to the ninth floor with a balcony and partial sea view which was very nice. Unfortunately without Aircon, it was just too hot at night even with the patio doors open so we did struggle to sleep. I do have an outside food bar and drinks bar.
