For the following reasons, I will never use this hotel again and request a refund for the unused portion through Expedia.
1. Even though we were in contact until the day before, the designated location was locked, and we couldn’t get inside.
2. When the previous user lost the key, the owner didn’t prepare a new one promptly. Instead, we were told to contact him each time to open and close the door according to our schedule.
3. The place was not very clean. It seemed like neither of the beds had their sheets washed, and there was trash and hair on them. I had to wash them myself at midnight before using them.
4. The previous user’s drinking water and ice cream were left in the refrigerator.
5. The shower drain was clogged, causing it to overflow. I had to clean it myself before use.
6. What I hated the most was that there were over 100 flies in the room the moment I entered. Even though there was a kitchen, it was painful not only to cook for ourselves but also to eat and stay there. We didn’t want to come back after sightseeing, so we used the room for only two nights out of the five-day reservation and had to pay extra to move to another hotel.
On the first day, my friend strongly protested about the key, so it was replaced with a new one at midnight, and the owner bought me flypaper for the flies. However, the flies couldn’t be removed, and their number increased on the following days!
