Convenient location but could use some improvement
First time for us in Japan. We chose this listing mainly for the location and how many it could accommodate. It was only a few minutes walk to the train station as well as 7/11, Family Mart and places to eat. The unit itself could’ve been cleaner and in need of upkeep. The trash receptacles were labeled but faded which made it confusing. We also did not anticipate the narrow flights of stairs as it was not fully described in the listing. I would not recommend if you’re traveling with a toddler and/or seniors like we were. Communication could use improvement as well. The owner was not as responsive I would’ve hoped. Took a day to respond to our messages. Good thing they were not emergencies.

Great location, but...
First, the location was excellent for visiting Tokyo. Lots of good places to eat in the area and easy walking distance to 2 different subway stops. The owners were good to deal with. A toilet was leaking when we arrived and they came over and fixed it right away. A problem with the tv remote occurred over the weekend so it couldn't be immediately addressed but communication with them about the issue was good.
The property is an older apartment which shows some wear and tear and is not laid out well for us. A bedroom, the 2 showers (one was tiny) and a toilet were on the bottom (entry) level. Up a flight of steps were the kitchen, small living room and another toilet. Up another flight of stairs were the other 2 bedrooms. I'm in my 60s and while it was doable, it got old dealing with the stairs.
While not dirty, the property was not especially clean. My wife has very high standards and she was disappointed, though not disgusted.
Overall, this property would be fine for some, but was not particularly well suited for us. I would stay there again, my wife would not.

Terrible
We originally rented this property like in the pictures from March 30th to April 3rd but there was a slight change in our itinerary so I sent numerous emails to explain to the owner that I would be changing to 31st to April 4th...and willing to pay for the 30th that we are not going to use. All nights were paid in full. We arrived on the 31st and she rented to other people. She replaced to poor conditions 2 apartments...after one night, we had to move due to unliving condition. I requested to a refund and she can keep one night payment but she refused. It was a very distress situation, we lost 1 day to deal with the situation. We will dispute the charge.
