「We stayed here for a Sunday night on the way home from a weekend away. The staff and locals were friendly, food was great and the room comfortable enough although the floorboards were really creaky in our room (although it is an older building so it is to be expected) We would definitely stay here again, should the opportunity arise」

「Lovely hotel and stay after a bumpy start due to the tv not working and unable to get wifi but we were moved into a different room which was great and had a bigger bed. The member of staff was great and resolved the issue immediately 」

「I booked the wednesday to thursday but unfortunately the wrong week, after i explained the staff were exemplary and agreed to change my booking at the last minute. The room was clean warm and tidy and the food was really good. No complaints at all and will stay again.」

「Late arrival and early out but was still welcomed by Alice the owner. Breakfast was offered and even provided at an earlier time than normally given, for which I was very grateful. A great cooked breakfast kicked off my morning and soon I was on my way. This was a perfect location to break up a long North to South journey. Very pleasant indeed. Sad that I missed out on what looked like a super Chinese dining experience for an evening meal! And just a few mins of the A1M」

「My friends and I had a great three nights at the King's Head. The accommodation was good with a sizable and clean room. The breakfast was great with a lot of variety. We ate in the restaurant twice during our stay and the menu was varied and quality was good. The hotel bar serves a wide selection of spirits and wine and the beer from the two local breweries was excellent. 」
