DO NOT BOOK ONLINE. Their customer service was just horrible, the worst I've ever seen at a hotel. They did not have 2 rooms for me that I booked online and paid 3 weeks prior to the check-in date. I arrived at the hotel around 7 PM and they told me they were fully booked. The next day was a national holiday, and it was not easy to find a decent hotel at that time of the day.
They offered to book a different hotel that I didn't even know about, but refused to give me a refund. I told them I'd go to a different hotel with similar ratings, but they could not guarantee that, and they didn't want to spend more than what I paid either. Since it was getting late, I agreed to go to a different hotel they booked. We drove another 5 miles to get to this hotel, and it was in pretty bad condition. There were renovations going on at the front, we checked the rooms and they were not even ready. Bathrooms were dirty and there were no clean bedsheets. We refused to stay there and went back to Lake Wind again to complain.
I was really frustrated at that point, and they simply did not take any responsibility for how they handled the situation. The lady at the front desk and another guy were very rude in the way they talked. They just wanted to get rid of me by giving me a refund, and told me they had to attend to other "guests". They did not care about all the hassle I had to go through. I finally had to take the refund and go find a different place to stay which took me 2 more hours.
