「ゴルフ目的で、クリスマスの時期に2泊しました。クリスマス時期のケリケリの店の営業状況がわからず、あらかじめメールでやっているレストランなどを問い合わせたところ、大変丁寧に返信をいただきました。 おかげで、店はすべてクローズのことがわかり、あらかじめスーパーで食材などを調達でき、食事難民になることもなくてすみました。またクリスマス当日、ワインを買い損ねて、どこか売っているところはないかと聞いたところ、店はすべてしまっているとのことでしたが、そのあと、部屋にたずねてきてくれて、私が個人的に買った3本のワインのうち、1本をわけてくれると、もってきてくれました。これにはもう大感激！ 場所はケリケリの中央部にあり、アクセスは大変便利。部屋は豪華ではありませんが、清潔で、気持ちよくすごせました。 ちなみに、ゴルフ場はホテルから車で１分のところのベイオブアイランズ・ケリケリゴルフクラブに行きましたが、ローカル色にあふれた、いいゴルフ場でした。」

「The Old Oak is a lovely old lady, nicely renovated and comfortable. Mangonui is a small town, and we found ourselves at a loose end, having booked a two-night stay. Unfortunately, the first night we were there, an attempt was made to steal our car parked directly in front (the only parking available), leaving it undriveable. Not the fault of Old Oak, of course, but off-street parking or better surveillance might have made a difference. For no fault of Old Oak, we are unlikely to return to...

「Amazing attention to detail for a specail retreat. Enjoyed the fire, views, quiet and spa. Nice to have an electric lazyboy and smart tv. Cooking facilities are good. Bathrrom os lovely. 「Patrick was an absolutely wonderful host and the arrival process was smooth and easy! It was the most stunning location with a lot of space for the seven of us that stayed. Unfortunately it rained most of our stay so we are hoping to stay again to get to spend some time outside on the property. One thing to note is that the property is completely off-grid. We loved this aspect but definitely worth knowing that there is just one composting toilet and one shower when you have a big group!...
